could you alaborate more on this as i havent heard this before. Is there respected people who have claimed this? Is it a rumour doing the rounds? I know nobody is gonna come right out and admit the fix but id love to know more about this. It was a bit of a sickening end from what i remember. PT musta took 12-16 clean shots

I saw that. It was Ali's last knockout. He looked pretty sharp at this point.

the McDonnell vice ko was brutal i was watching that on that old screensport channel on sky i think they had another fight due to close the show but they scrapped it cause McDonnell looked in a really bad way.

sibson vs anderson was another fight at the albert hall that had a great atmosphere

The under/over for the fight was the fourth. It was well known Pinky although relatively close to his peak was finished due to his abuses. But Thomas' jab was thought good enough for Tyson to be a little respectful and coming off the Bonehugger fight, the under/over (the only thing worth betting on in a Tyson fight at the time) was seeemingly placed a little high.

Now I am going to declare an interest and state my old man lost a lot of money (for him) on this fight. But he was not alone there was a lot of interest on the relatively high under/over, and after what Tyson did to Pinklon early, why did he choose to rest for a few rounds before (spectacularly) finishing him off?

He saved the bookies (and of course the Casinos) quite a bit by taking Thomas up to the fourth...
