Not even slightly unknown guys, like Tommy Gomez or Eugene Hart...

Truly obscure fighters that you may of seen fight in some rarely seen TV broadcast years ago. Guys that never fought at a world level but seemed to have the power to decapitate people they were fighting.

Anyone have any good stories along these lines? :D

Alex Ramos - unrealised potential and no super stories, but at one time coming up it was aid he hit the hardest in the division with either hand.

Tony Baltazar - HUGE left hooking lightweight from the 80's. Massive power. absolutely massive.

Jaime Garza - Known to plenty in here but still far from all. Going into his Juan Meza defence he was about 40-0 with 38 ko's with only two going more than 5 rounds :yikes A bigger single hitter than even Wilfredo Gomez and truth be known would sit comfortably in the top 50 p4p punchers ever IMO. Excepting sheer quality of opponent ko'ed would sit well alongside Julian Jackson.

Baltazar dropped Howard Davis (fastest boxer in the world at the time) twice with his textbook hook. From memory he also dropped a prime Buddy McGirt, a great feat. His war with Rockin' Robin Blake is one of the fights of the 80's.

Garaz's first loss and the start of the spiral was in this title defence. Unfortunately his chin paled in comparison to his power. Nice one round slugfest tho!!

Bobby Joe Young at 147 was a huge hitter but like Ramos never really showed it to full extent.

Yes, HUGE single hitter who actually dropped Alexis. Very close to mentioning Ganigan myself. Great shout.
