Seven years ago was also virtually a golden era in the division.

Not 80s/ Four Kings golden, but pretty damned amazing.

2002 Welterweights include: Shane Mosley, Vernon Forrest, Ricardo Mayorga, Cory Spinks. I think Cotto would be able to hold his own against these guys easily.

So we're down to the level of calling Cotto 'limited' now? Unbelievable.

Sh*t, I was thinking about 1999/ 2000... time goes by too fast. During the Quartey/ Oscar/ Shane/ Tito years, Cotto might have been "average". In 2002 he probably stops Spinks and I'd favor him against Mayorga.

You want to know something I have never said in any forum. My father started telling me that Margarito was cheating right before the Cotto fightstarted. I never wanted to believed him. Of course my father didn't know **** about the gloves. He was talking about something Margarito was chewing before the fight. But I think I should listen to my old man more often.

I hate it when fans use underrated while bad mouth fighters such as Clottey, Margarito, Judah, Quintana, Malignaggi, and Torres. Not all elite guys, but all are pretty solid wins. If Joe Calzaghe had does type of opponents prier Lacy, then ther will be no question he would be P4P over Floyd and pac by an easy margin.
