My question is what fighter has no weakness? Cotto is not an exception from any other fighter. I just dont undertstand why someone would make over one hundred threads about the same topic??? Then they become ignorant when some make a great argument and have nothing else to say but to bring culture into the discussion. This guy mentions the same thing over and over and over, cotto has won vacant belts is a fact. Stamina problems is becoming a fact, his defense is not great, true but then again who is going to look good with the kind of opponents hes facing? Now its time to move on and stop dreaming about Cotto, just stop betting against him and losing money to your wifes relatives and friends. Have a few beers and enjoy the sport of boxing, but please dont be ignorant and discredit European fighters and cultures. Now is your time to stop being the blind man.:good
Yes you do. The thread starter claimed the following in his two threads: -That Torres and Malignaggi were bums -That Torres "slapped Cotto around" and Cotto was unimpressive in that fight, although Cotto knocked him down 4 times before knocking him the **** out -That Cotto has a "shitty, unimpressive and manufactured resume" because he didn't fight a couple of fighters the thread-starter thinks he should have fought -And that we shouldn't give Cotto credit for taking the Clottey fight and beating him because "Clottey has no power". And in spite of all that, all you do is say how excellent his posts are and how much you agree with him. Nah, you don't have a gripe with Cotto.
Well we are pationed by our fighter too bad that americans do not care about boxing lees alone their boxers. We love to be pationed to our boxer do not like it the STFU and GTFO.
Well Actually there is a reason behind Mexican and Puerto Ricans Love-affair and Passion for Boxing...and also, Amercias lack of appreciation for the Sport. America has far more sports to which many different Americans can develope a fan-base with different sports. Example: In the American South...Its Nascar!!! In Suburban America...Baseball will always be The National Past-Time. In the Midwest...Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Oklahoma and especially down in Texas...ITS FOOTBALL!!! In the Affluent and Upper-Class areas of the Northeast CT, DE, ME, RI, upstate NY...Its Lacrosse. And in the Urban areas of the US...Philly, DC, Chicago, Detroit, NY, Oakland, L.A., Cleveland, Atlanta...The African American Population of these areas...ITS BASKETBALL on every playground in the HOOD...ALL-DAY / EVERYDAY!!!! Plus in the Suburban areas of the West Coast...California, NV, Arizona, Seattle...The popularity of "EXTREME SPORTS IS GROWING"...Skateboarding, BMX Racing...etc. This is why Boxing in America doesn't have the same kind of fan-base as Mexico y Puerto Rico. In Mexico its Soccer & Boxing and in Puerto Rico its Baseball & Boxing...and although Hoops is growing on the Island...it will never compare to Baseball & Boxing. Now do you see how easy this was to share thoughts, opinions and learn from each other...without being immature and saying **** like SFTU AND GTFO. I was under the impression this was a Boxing Forum...NOT A JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PLAYGROUND.
Considering that I'm me, I believe I know a lot more about how I feel than you do. I understand that you have a big time hard on for Cotto, but that doesn't mean that someone has a gripe with him just because they offer objective citicism of him.
Don't give me that bullcrap. As much as I like and support Cotto, I've always noted his flaws and you'll never see me claim that he's something more than he really is. If you were really objective, you would have pointed out the exaggerations and lies the other guy posted in his original post (in both threads), but you did not. I stated facts in my previous post, and the best you could come up with was that I have a hard on for Cotto.
