It's simple cause everybody wants to see Mayweather vs Pacquiao way more then Mayweather vs Cotto so i don't know why you say "it's weird". Maybe you saying it cause you're a huge Cotto fan Benny. Trust me i want Cotto to beat Pacquiao more then anything but again Mayweather vs Pacquiao is the fight everybody wants to see it's that simple.

I don't want to see that fight. I don't envision it being any more competitive than the fight the other night.

Pacquiao is proven he can fight well above 140 pounds and if he beats Cotto then he finally beat a true legit ww. Marquez never fought at 140 and above before so it's way different.

Marquez has better defense than Pacman? Hmmm from the last few fights I've seen, Pacquiao hasn't been getting hit that clean and Marquez is the same old Marquez. Infact, if you look at Pac's past few fights, Pac can actually make you miss completely. He knocked Hatton down with a right hook and slipped Hatton's oncoming shot in one motion. Pacquiao of old couldn't do that.

As far as your "early ending" how can you be so sure about that? Manny Pacquiao is no walk in the park and from what I've seen, Floyd mayweather gets hit by southpaws. Zab would have beaten Floyd if he just maintained what he was doing. Zab got tired. PAC WON'T. PAC DOES NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM.

Demarcus Corley stunned Floyd very badly with a right hook and just didn't know how to follow up. PAC WOULD NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. Pac's style of punches from weird angles is gonna be difficult for Floyd to time. Pac has speed to match Floyd and Pac's activity is gonna be a problem to. He fights for 3 minutes of the round and doesn't take his foot off the gas. Pac would give Floyd all he could handle.

Sure Cotto outboxed a Mosley that didn't move his head that night. Shane left his head right there and Cotto did what a Boxer is supposed to do. However Pacquiao is probably the best in the game right now as far as head movement and doing it consistantly. Cotto isn't gonna slap Manny Pacquiao in the face with a jab all night long like he did to Mosley that night. And Manny has what it takes to get past Cotto. He's got the hand & footspeed to do so. But it will be a tough fight.

as i said before Pacquiao vs. Cotto is better fight than Mayweather vs. Marquez. i always believe this is a Pacman size up to a true WW before Mayweather and i'll make final analysis on Pacman chances on Mayweather if he win over Cotto...

I ****ing love pac-man but yeah it is sort of mind boggling that people are given Cotto no chance. I see it being 50/50; Cotto can box, bang to the body with both hands esp that mean left hook; has good timing and is one solid barrel chested mother ****er.

My prediction: I think Pac will box him early and maybe catch him with a few bombs (not put him down though), he needs to work to the body a little more than he usually does as he boxes and then if he does that without getting tagged too much (esp. to the body) he can sit on his punches as the fight goes on and I see a tenth round knockout for Pac in the roughest straight out war of his career.

You mean hopefully Cotto agrees to fight Floyd:deal:deal:deal

"I fights who my peoples tells me to fights" is all that punching bag can utter after a fight...

    No Prob Bro,

People think I have this STRONG HATRED for Cotto. That is far from the truth. I question a hand full of fighters on his resume and think he is a FLAWED but good fighter. But I DO NOT HATE this kid.

He just takes WAY TOO MANY punches and his defense is POOR.

But is kinda' blows my mind how everyone thinks that PACMAN is just gonna "walk right through him"...THAT'S CRAZY.

    Coming from a PAC fan!

Cotto is a dangerous fight! If PAC is not carefull he can get KO'd!

Good thing PAC is always carefull and does not underestimate his opponents. PAC can manage to win this one!

He sure as hell has a chance, Cotto is not a scrub to overlook, the man is there to fight all the way till he has NOTHING left. My prediction remains Pac by TKO 5 purely based on Cotto's good but not good enough punch resistance. Cotto can be stunned when he takes a punch he doesn't see coming and Pac's speed is all about major punches that he won't see coming body and head in combinations nonstop.

Judah rocked Coto with the FIRST clean punch he landed in the first round, of course that doesn't mean the road is clear for Cotto and he's doomed, hell no, we all know Cotto becomes more dangerous when hurt. Pacquiao has the leg movement and speed to avoid Cotto's counters when hurt.

Some fights just come down to power and speed. Pac CAN overpower Cotto like Cotto can overpower him but Pac definitely wins the speed contest which means his punches will land more often.
