Ohh thats right Spinks got a decision over Mayorga I feel ya, I mean who knows what the cards would have said had Mayorga only had to fight spinks and not the ref as well..... other than Mayorga who has Spinks beat? Ohh thats right Judah.... Okay throw in Karmazin but you know he didnt really win that **** neither.... And to be honest with you about Zab he is not harder match up for Floyd because Zab lacks the mentality of a fighter, he is mentally weak and caves when he is confronted with Adversity..... Manny if anything fights his ass off under fire, even in his loss to Morales after that clash of heads knowing he was behind he turned it up a notch and made for a very close bout, Zab every time he has been in that position he failed....... No way Zab is a tuffer fight for Floyd than Manny Pacquiao...... Seriously this Zab Judah build up **** is a ****ing joke Pimp...
It's not a joke man. Stylistically it's a harder fight for him. You fail to realize that the reach advantage, speed and jab advantage Zab has over Pac. Also the more counter-punching style. Zab won 3 rounds against PBF Pac won't win that many.
I agree ! I feel that too many people are still stuck in their minds, with the thought of Pacquiao from a few years ago. Roach has done an incredible job to turn Pacman into a more complete fighter, but the main changes occurred when Alex Arizza started to work with the team, prior to the Diaz fight ! Arizza is quite underrated in my opinion, for Pac's transformation.
Wow you really make a big deal out of reach, Honestly reach does not always mean ****, look at alot of Tysons fights, alot of Holyfields fights.... Pac can use his smaller size to an advantage as well, we have to wait and see, but Zab is nothing special kid, and you are going a bit over board in saying he is, Margarito is light years better than Zab Judah... To be honest you can make a case that Hattons better than Judah, Hatton stopped Zoo, Judah was knocked out by Zoo easily, Hatton also stopped Paulie, and has a win over Collazo.... Those IMO are on par if not better than a win over Cory spinks...
Very True, I was kind of off though, because PBF throws the left jab to the body not the lead right to set up the left hook. Even Marquez was caught by that hook. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwgpGxle0T0[/ame] This video is a good example of how he set up the hook by throwing the jabs to the body to knock JMM down. The way PBF throws it he seems like he doubles up with a feint low then a comes up with a hook. Its very hard to predict if PBF is going to come with the jab to the body, lead right down the pipe or with the left hook, or even just a regular left hand jab to the face. If Pacman can't stop PBFs jab to the body the fight is over. If he had a longer reach he could possibly try to come over the top but he doesn't have that type of reach. The left hook doesn't really seem open at that point either since PBF has his guard up on that side but that would be the best bet to. To try and side step it and come with a left hook off of PBFs body jab. Since PBF goes low to do it he is vulnerable to getting caught off balance if he were to somehow get hit cleanly.
Roach had said before that Floyd, compared against Cotto and Mosley was the easiest fight for Pac. I remember Roach also said that he wanted Floyd ahead of Hatton because even if Pac lost to Floyd, he could still make a big fight with Hatton. I think it's Arum, not Roach who's scared of matching Pac with Floyd for fear of reducing the marketability of his cash cow.
Cotto vs Mayweather is FAR MORE "JUICY" than Mayweather vs Pacquio. Pacquio would be Floyd's EASIEST FIGHT...A COMPLETE SHUTOUT!!!!
I like pac but i kinda hope cotto wins cos to me it sounds like he has been completely left out in the cold. The weight is a catchweight for pac, cotto still has to defend his belt despite it being a catchweight, pac is the oine who is being constantly put in the media spotlight were as cotto has been training longer and we have heard nothin about him. I thought they both had the same promoter but to me it seems as arum is only concerned about pac and makin money.
Jabs to the body and straights to the body.....if PAC has no answer for these he will be thouroughly outclassed....those punches mess up rhthym, timing, all the while score points, and set up big shots like straight rights to the top and leading hooks.:deal
I think Floyd will win but it won't be easy. Floyd will have to adjust and he'll fight a very cautious fight which will make it even more difficult for manny b/c it will be even harder to find a target in Floyd. But ultimately FLOYD WILL HAVE TO FIGHT WITH PAC at some point. That is where PAC will win rounds. It will be a close competitive fight but at some point Floyd uses his reach and foot work to keep PAC at bay later in the fight and wins rounds on sheer boxing. But mark my works...this will be FLoyd's hardest fight to date and he can loose this one. I just think it's more likely that PAC looses. Styles make fights and Floyd when cautious is the most difficult style in the game. What excites me is the fact that PAC will be fast and awkward enough, with the right amount of pressure to FORCE Floyd in to a fight and I really want to see that......even if only for a few seconds at a time. PAC will pressure Floyd and take Floyd out of his normal comfort zone.
