these are the posts that really make me laugh.

british posters still trying to build up calzaghe but, after 1k posts, still havent read - or wanted to read and reply to - people's opinions that fly in the face of what they want to be true.

Calzaghe is an ATG. He would have dominated rjj and hoppy in any decade

    I don't give **** for your post.

    These are the reasons:

    1. Americans blow themselves up like balloons - and steer away from good none-Americans. Taylor-Hopkins-Tarver etc. was blown up-up-up-up.... and what happened the first time they met a good European (Taylor-Froch, and Hopkins-Calzaghe)?

    POP!

    2. They circle-f... all day long putting more emphasis on media spin than on actual fighting. Look at Lacy how he was brought up feeding on absolute no-namers and a single retired English guy (Reid). The rest were no-hopers, but some how the US audience at the time bought into it. I remember how people argued that Pemberton was a great world-class fighter... Outside of the US, boxing fans were scratching our heads thinking "what the f... are they doing?". Look at Tarver, Johnson, RJJ, Dawson - look at how they keep fighting eachother only to claim that they all have excellent resumes.

    Rubbish.

Now, Pavlik. Let's see Pavlik vs Abraham. Let's see Pavlik vs. Kessler. Let's see how great he really is - or will he do the American circle-f... as well?

American resumees are often so manufactured that it isn't even funny.

The word "amazing" hardly describes half the fighters you mentioned.

Yet you had no trouble putting Tarver, Griffin, and Woods in the same sentence as "amazing"? :huh

Roy Jones in his prime would embarrass Calzaghe. <<Anybody disagree with that are not true boxing fans. Even Calzaghe admit that if he would have fought Jones in his prime, Calzaghe would lose.
