Again you aren't understanding the business side of this. If Roach tells GBP to put Khan in with Bradley now they fight for less than 6 figures and Khan probably loses. Now he has a fighter who has to build up his reputation and fan base once again. Boxing fans are so fickle and will call any fighter who loses as exposed and overrated.

On the other side if Roach comes out and says his fighter isn't ready yet and not good enough no one will watch his up coming bout. Roach has invested interest in Khan too and isn't going to public with his true thoughts. You have lost your mind if you think he should. This isn't two school boys calling each other by the bike racks. This is business first and foremost like very other sport.

I don't have any problem with this. Malignaggi is inarguably a bigger name than Tim Bradley, plus WAY less of a risk for the still young and developing Khan. Get some bigger names on Amir's resume, let Bradley do the same, so that when tney're ready to fight it'll mean more. This is just proper management. If they fought now, Bradley would ruin him and it would only hurt Khan because Tim's unfortunately pretty unknown.

As long as their cleaning out JWW and when theres nothing left to clean they fight a unification bout, its all good.

I think Khan is future top 5 p4p.

The problem i see with this is that u gotta read between the lines.

What he really means is "We will not fight him until he starts slipping or we can get him to fight at superfeatherweight.?

There is a line for these folks: "The truth? You can't handle the truth!"

Geez. Boxing is business. Who knew? :huh Freddie was pretty forthright on this. Fans get impatient. If all the fights happened that they wanted when they wanted they would be complaining there would be no good fights left to be made. Timing is just as important outside the ring as in.

I don't understand whats wrong with that.....if you read between the lines, he is saying Bradley is too much for Khan, so therefore maybe down the line when it becomes a more competitive match up.

    Whats wrong with that??

Course not, its called 'BEING A GOOD TRAINER'.....why belittle his fighter in the media. A trainer wants to instill confidence in his fighter.

Trainers are different, some might have told it exactly how it is and some others are not. Either way, it doesn't matter, a trainer will say things for the good of their fighter.

Fighters respond in different ways, some can handle real talk and some need comforting words. Whats wrong with that.......NOTHING.

So what? He admits he's a tough and hard fight for Khan. He's stating facts. Bradley has hardly got any fanbase at all (fact). He bring **** money to the table (fact). And yes, the division is hot and they can build it into a good big fight. Why rush?

Impatient ****ers. I don't see how you think he's lost 'His DAMN MIND'

So I guess Roach is waiting for Khan as his chin improve a bit
