Yeah, funny thing too. I just remembered that Pesci finished the job on Frank but good about ten years later in, "Goodfellas." Joe and DeNiro must have been laying for him all that time, 'cause he was the made guy who got out of prison with, "mouths to feed," and end up getting butchered in the trunk of Ray Liotta's car in that other "true" story about Henry Hill and Jimmy Burke and Tommy DeVito. And they say boxing's violent.:-(

You know I think you're right. He's one of those "type" actors who gets a call when Hollywood needs an authentic Italian tough guy type. He's good though. I've seen him play other types and he pulls it off. Must be one of Scorsese's go-to guys, 'cause all three films were directed by him.
