Absolutely not.

If Khan keeps improving-esp that jab-....prime on prime, i'd give him a good chance against Witter. Khan's not going to go rushing in and boxes him to a UD.

 

I have always thought if junior witter was promoted in a different way and had fights at specific times then he could have been a very well known fighter in the public eye and possibly british p4p

 

Good post and very true, Boxing is all about timing and styles most definitly make fights... I also agree Hatton ranks higher than Witter, 1 name alone, Tyszu!! No matter what people say about him being washed up no one said it before the fight and I truly believe the only man that saw it coming was Frank..:good

Back at the domestic level Witter would have beaten Hatton...:yep

Hatton wanted the fight and his promoter at the time was going to let him nowhere near someone who was going to spoil the party...:yep

I then think that his poor promotion and Hattons correct direction and promotion made him the rich boxer he is today...:yep

I just think Witter would have had his number...:yep

I don't see him beating Hatton though..... he would present some problems and maybe deck him early on, but for me Witter never really proved he could deal with someone who would bring the pressure - a lot of his opponents in his prime were poor.

Having read Hatton's book, I'm not sure Warren was convinced, he was just desperate to hang on to Hatton and made the Tszyu fight on an ''or else....'' basis.

I just don't think Warren is all that as a promoter. Anyways.....
