Chris Eubank (Cruiser version) v Enzo Macarinelli.
Ricky Hatton (WBU tomato cans version) v Shea Neary.
Ricky Hatton v Arturo Gatti (prime v prime).
David Haye (Heavy version) v Frank Bruno.
Joe Calzaghe (175 version) v John Conteh.
Nigel Benn (168 version) v Carl Froch.

What are the outcomes of the above? All competitive matchups I think.

Conteh Vs Calzaghe would not be competitive at all. The Conteh that spanked Finnegan twice would win a fairly comfortable decision, too slick, too accurate, too varied, too good, not even Calzaghes unorthodoxy and handspeed would do much to knock Conteh off his game. Conteh WUD15 Calzaghe

Eubank stops Enzo. Iron beard, intlligence=Enzo sparked.
Hatton a higher level of fighter than Gatti. He mauls and breaks him down in a war, doing the much better work and stopping him within ten.

Bruno would wipe Haye out. Seriously.

Benn Vs Froch would be a war. Froch is too hittable, and Benn more rounded at 168. Benn comes on strong in a war, doing the better work against the durable and awkward Froch to take a 115-113-type decision, a close competitive fight where Froch is in much more trouble than 'The Dark Destroyer'.

Hatton would beat Neary then, what a fight though! Hatton points or late stoppage.

Jack The Ripper vs Prince Naseem Hamed.........

Naz wins, dancing jack to the rozzers, before giving the butcher a clip round his lugs for good measure..............then says, "is there a doctor in the house".

Okay, if Haye runs constantly for the duration Bruno might not land on him.

But Bruno is far superior, hits harder, has a good jab, and the ability to back Haye up. Haye is a sloppier finisher than Bonecrusher and a lesser puncher. No Heavyweight that mediocre in so many areas is stopping Bruno, and he won't do enough significant work to win on points either.

    Different level of fighter.

I strongly doubt Bruno wipes the floor with Haye, but I guess it's the norm to knock Haye in these forums:think

Basically you're knocking Bruno if you think Haye has a chance with him. He has a slim chance, but put Haye in Franks era you you'd probably have never heard of him.

And what did Bruno do in this great era to suggest that he would wipe the floor with Haye.

Granted Haye struggled with Wlad merely due to the size different... There would be no such problem against Bruno and we all know who the faster one is, Bruno has power but so does Haye (enough to put Bruno to sleep). So I don't see how Bruno is so so much better than Haye.

Wlad struggled to lay a glove on Haye (though admittedly when he finally did in the 6th, the fight was over)... and he's streets ahead of Frank in technical ability.
