Bunce says once Johnathon Banks gets past "some soviet with an X and a V in his name" Enzo Macc will have no problem beating him. Presuming he's talking about Alexeev isn't he making a big presumption??? For my money only Cunningham could pose a serious threat to Alexeev at CW.
I dont think he was speaking about anybody specific, he said X V or K so I think he could have been talking about any Soviet Cruiser.
jeez, I have been out all night at my pals house watching the Wlad fight & of course havehad a fair few, so Im almost running on empty at this moment! BUT you have to admit Bunce made a great point when he rhymed off some of the so called 'joke' american champions of the recent past like Witherspoon & Tony Tubbs etc, & how they were LEAGUES above that Thomson guy who came apart against Wlad late last night. Bunce is right, american heavyweights are an utter disgrace nowadays. & like the tennis, heavyweight boxing just isnt the same without brash americans being there or there abouts if you know what I mean. As for David Haye, I was sad to see that he didnt turn up for his 'ringside challenge' he just decided to badmouth Wlad on the phone from Cyprus instead... David Haye, all mouth & trousers IMO. Be interesting to see if he keeps his promise to fight someone who is actually quite good in November. My guess is that he will fight a journeyman instead, & claim everyone is running scared of him.
