Tszyu definately for me....closely followed by Lennox Lewis...these fighters usually had at a pub somewhere watching live.
Gotta be late 80's early 90's Tyson but over all i think i would say Tommy Hearns, amazing fighter who despite having a shaky chin dominated several weight divisions
Fenech (Really got me started watching and loving boxing, pure dominance at his best) Mosely (Fantastic fighter, non-stop) Gatti (Geez, how many superlatives describe 'Thunder') Pacquiao (Special)
How are you and Fenech these days. He has an amazing ability to be friends and enemies with the same people depending what year it is
Far too hard a question for most of us IMO! Started for me with Rose & Fammo, then Ali & Frazier provided the biggest & best era in the modern history of boxing IMO. Was very definately an Ali man then, but gained a greater appreciation for Smokin' Joe years later. Then along came Sugar Ray Leonard and his 3 contemporaries to liven things up again. Locally, always liked Jimmy Thunder, Lester Ellis, the work rate of Fenech, and respected the hard won achievements of Barry Michael - but hated him for a while for beating Lester. The Tyson phenomenon came and went. It's like picking between an at peak Elle MacPherson and Jennifer Hawkins, Jesicca Beal etc. Perhaps Ali and Leonard top my list.
Chris Eubank, I just loved the whole show, there is no better than Chris and He was one hell of a fighter, tough as nails in a $ 10 000 suit
He is older than that... When I met him, he was wearing his Tunney vs Dempsey II Woven Cardigan... said he got it at the gate of the epic Sesquicentennial Park Battle..
No mate.. that fight was 1927, CHB went to celebrate his 40th B'day with friends... Go Figure... Phil Austin drove the bus full of his former students.
