Favorite straweight brawls?

Divisison is never talked about. Any suggestions?

 

Ricardo Lopez vs Rosendo Alvarez II

 

I saw it years ago but ill watch again. I plan on watching more of it. Guess there isnt many to choose from. I wish at least espn put them on cards a little more

 

Good call, good fight. Any other suggestions, I've seen so little of that divison?

Haven't seen it, but I heard Gonzalez vs Rosas was a good straw-weight scrap.

 

Eagle Den Junlaphan - Rodel Mayol

 

I think he was a light flyweight but close enough his fight against Michael Carbajal in particular the first one was flat out awesome one of the best fights i've seen. Oh yeah Humberto Gonzales hell of a fighter.

 

Any Ricardo Lopez fight.

 

Straw weights? I can't name one fighter let alone a classic fight.

Any hardcore boxing fan should know who he is.

 

I remember Lopez, didn't see much of him but always thought he was a fly weight.

I probably don't pay enough attention to the little guys.

 

Didn't have the best resume out there by any means, but there was no denying his excellent skillset. Beautiful little fighter to watch.

I do remember Lopez, but mostly because he was undefeated. Back then I'd usually only read about his fights in the Ring or whatever, I don't really remember seeing him fight, though I have seen him here and there in spots.

His record may have been padded out with inexperienced fighters and such but Lopez was decent enough, I'm sure.
