Which fights had your favourite post fight interviews?
One of mine is Hearns v Roldan, brilliant to see the mutual respect Tommy and Hagler had for each other.

May not be my favorite, but it's certainly memorable.

After Yaqui Lopez beat Mike Rossman, the TV interviewer asked him in the ring (I'm paraphrasing the question, not the answer): "How'd you manage to beat Rossman? He was such a heavy favorite."

    "I hate Jews, he replied.

The nervous interviewer quickly shuttled him off camera and sent it back to the ringside commentator.

An old ESPN fight. It may have been Kenny Bogner but I'm not sure. He was asked a question and there was a lot of background noise, and his reply was: "I didn't hear a ****ing word you said". This was before the 7 second delay. Funny.

Tommy Gallagher trained Yuri Vaulin, a tall, light-hitting Russian cruiserweight.

Vaulin was matched with Tommy Morrison, who was on track for a title fight, in a main event on national TV. It was supposed to be no more than tune-up for Morrison.

From round one through four, the Russian surprised everyone, out jabbing and out boxing Morrison.

The crowd and Gallagher sensed an upset -- the big money for Vaulin was in grasp.

Suddenly, in the 5th round, Morrison caught the Russian with a left hook to the body. He crumpled to the canvas and couldn’t beat the count.

The TV announcer jumped into the ring and shoved a microphone in Gallagher's face while he ministered to the Russian.

"Tommy, Tommy, your kid was so close to being a contender. What happened?"

"The cocksucker quit!" Gallagher said, coast-to-coast.

Marlon Starling-Tomas Molinares with Larry Merchant interviewing a still dazed and bewildered Starling after being leveled after the bell.(paraphrase)

Merchant: Marlon, this was the first time you've ever been knocked out.

Starling: Knocked out?! I wasn't even down!

Merchant: Marlon......I think you need to see a film of the fight.
