Just watched the post fight interview. The interpreter was a total disaster. He was constantly making sh*t up when translating into English, and could not properly deliver the questions to Fedor in Russian. Kind of reminded me of that morron Spanish interpreter on HBO. You would expect that organizations like those with all of their finances, would hire at least decent interpreters.

Yea he was. He was just making **** up and he was not translating that well to him as well. He needs to get someone else who actually speaks Russian.

On a side note, I was surprised by how religious Fedor sounded. He said things like "we'll see what God brings" and thanks to all for praying for me... But of course the interpreter did not translate that part.

Fedor was also seen wearing a wooden cross necklace at the weigh in and after the fight.

As for the translator, its pretty odd, before this he had that woman who was pretty terrible as well. Apparetly Fedor can speak Englsih fluently as proclaimed by Frank Trigg and seen in a few Pride behind the scenes documentaries. For whatever reason he elects not to speak English in press conferences and interviews, he surely has to cotton on to the fact that his translators are **** and aren't translating what he's really saying.

No he can't speak english well. Trust me. He might understand general points but you won't see him talking a lot.

Translator does suck. He translates a lot of in between line "meaning" wrong. I should go ask for a job at Affliction I'd do better translating than anyone has ever translated for Fedor.

You know what i did Russian in school and even i could see that that translator was very poor. It appeared he couldnt understand most of what Fedor was saying though.. Wasnt he a yank?

I think he was probably US born to Russian speaking imigrants. He had a similar accent, as my best friends brother who came to the US at age 3.

Its fluent-ish. No worse than Arlovski's. Infact I can understand Fedor a little better.

Its definately understandable. Fedor needs to armbar his translators and speak for himself.
