Anyone want to tell me anything on him? How bad was the De La Hoya fight? Was it just a cause of the big money Hopkins fight down the road that had Sturm robbed there? How good of a fighter is he?
not sure the classic forum is the place to get the most feedback on this. however he is a decent fighter. Traditional euro style, tight guard, good jab, doesnt make too many mistakes. The DLh fight was close, but not a robbery like some people believe, a fitter 160 DLH would have won more clearly imo, for example the DLH Hopkins fought had more snap and a trimmer midsection. he is currently being under matched by his manager though, he is def milking his world belt for all he can get. Pavlik, taylor and Abraham can beat him imo.
