Was really impressed with Skoglund and i had hia fight with Smith pretty much level before the knockdown, fancy him to beat Rocky.

 

Or the fact it was a off night for Smith?

I think it’s a great match up. I think Rocky stops him or Skoglund points.

 

I think there was definitely an element of ring rust about his performance.

 

Surprised Eddie hasn’t tried to rearrange this for Liverpool around the same date.

Fielding is rolling the dice here.
U can tell by his body language that he sees this as an opertunity to prove to himself and everyone that the smith fight was just a bad day at the office for him. If he can stop skoglund, especialy early on it will go some way to clearing out the demons that the smith loss left behind with him.
Fielding is a confidence fighter imo. Hes at a crossroads now, that win or lose the implications for his future career have never been more important than they are, going into this skoglund fight.
The brophy fight will of give his confidence a real breath of fresh air.

I admire Skoglund for taking another big challenge away from home. He could as easy as anything stayed home. But he is ambitious and believes in hard work. I hope he gets past Fielding leading to a fight versus Degale-

If he comes over and beats an known british fighter in fielding the yeah it possibly sets up the degale fight or Another against a big british name. What does he gain from beating a nobody on home soil. Easy decision realy. And he should beat rocky imo

 

Yesterday Skoglund was taken to the hospital after sparring in the gym. He has recived a cerebral haemorrhage and is currently in a induced coma.

Let's hope he can recover to a normal life.

 

Skoglunds career is over, he's in a coma after a sparring injury. Hope he gets on with his life when he recovers and isn't tempted back in like Blackwell.

Devastated for him really as I was made a fan when he ran Callum Smith to the wire, a really nice guy too.

 

Sad news. I hadn't seen him till the Smith fight but really liked him. Hope he recovers fully.
