Hearn mentioned that he would like to make this fight next. How does this one go? I think it's a really fun fight that probably won't last long, I fancy Sims by KO. Sadly it probably finds its way to a US undercard rather than being over here.

Good fight, but yeah even though I don't particularly rate Sims Jr I think he stops him. Fielding struggles with pressure so it'll be a long night where the Sky Sports report will be "Sims Jr announces himself on world stage with emphatic stoppage" (8th round stool retirement.)

Could see it headline Liverpool show as Fielding is a big ticket seller.

Depends what Rocky turns up. We know there’s two versions of him, unfortunately on the big nights he tends to be a rabbit in the headlights.

Sims Jr has looked impressive at times but flattered to deceive at others.

    It’s a close one.

Yeah, Hearn mentioned Fielding/Sims Jr a while back. Says hes doing another Liam Smith Liverpool card in the summer, wants the fight on there.

Hearn is fielding Rocky Fielding to one of his USA prospects. If he does it infront of Rockys home fans its a cruel move

Fielding is finished. I lost a lot of respect for him after the Alvarez fight, he was just happy to be there and didn't look to use any of his advantages, for a tall super middleweight he never looks like he's in that great condition either. I know Alvarez is a tough opponent and the money was too good to turn down but go in there and at least make a go of it, if he lost having a real go it would have done his profile the world of good. Jason Welborn knew he was up against it against Hurd but he still had a go and actually caused Hurd, a top level World Champion, some problems before going out on his shield, that's all you can ask, that the boxer gives it their best, I don't Fielding did that.

I’m in favour of this fight. It’s a great way for Eddie to clean up the mess, which Feilding is at this point and give Sims a reasonably big showcase.

It’s basically a profiler booster in the UK to justify a Smith vs Sims fight which Smith will win comfortably.

I agree that Smith would beat Sims comfortably. Which is why I don't see that fight happening. I get the impression that Hearn sees Sims as one of his potential stars, so won't put him in a fight he would likely get beat in anytime soon.

No interest in Fielding now, like watching a footballer/cricketer turned boxer.

Agree with this. They will build him into a winnable super middle fight. The next time a truax level guy wins the belt they will hope Sims will be ready to step up.
