Alistair Overeem is deffo not 6'5...he was a shade smaller than F. Werdum at 6'4. Im guessing Overeem is actually 6'3 3/4 . Shane Carwin aswell is deffo about 6'1 and not 6'5. Any other fighter anyone notice a height disparity >

I think its part lying part wanting to boost yourself slightly. Im 5'10 1/2 but i could round it to 5'11 or more if i wanted to. In fact if were a fighter i downplay it. Anyhow Alistair and his team dont need to like being 6'3 3/4 and 255 pounds with bodyfat level of 8 to 10 per cent is A BIG MAN.. From watch boxing and MMA- True heights/ are the following- Cain Velaquez 6'1 Junior Dos Santos 6'3 F. Werdum 6'4 Randy Couture 6'0 Fedor 6'0 I know for a fact GSP is 5'10, i was slightly taller than him...so in reality he was a great reference point....there is a pic of him and randy...randy had 2 inches on him.....and from there you can put togeather all the fighters true height.
Ive measured myself as 5'8 1/2 to 5'9.. and ive met gsp.... He was the same height as me. So maybe the scales I was using were off, or maybe UFC weights are exagerated.. Btw he had shoes and I was barefoot. He was a tinnnnny bit taller than me. But his shoulders were much wider than mine, and i have wide shoulders. It was almost super human LOL. He looked like a ****ing refrigirator

It is often hard to accurately compare fighter's heights. Particularly when they are moving around and not often standing straight. Also some have longer legs, more hair et al. So it can be very deseptive. It's probably fair to say that the heights on fighter's CVs wouldn't stand up in court though.
I've always seen Carwin listed at somewhere around 6'2". I've never seen him listed as 6'5". You're right about Overeem. I've seen him listed at 6'5", but Werdum was taller.
Yeah it's true they exxagerate, i've seen some footage of Buakaw fighting and he was listed as 1m71 or about 5'7.5ish yet during k-1 max he magically becomes 5'8.5
WWE stats bro. And your right either Werdum is shorter than listed or he had heels on. I think Overeem is close to 6ft 4 or a shade under as he looked the same height as Rogers when they fought. Maybe even slightly taller...
