Why does an orthodox fighter having difficulties against a lefty and not vice versa? I assume a lefty having difficulties too against righties...I don't get it...

There are more righties than the lefties and most of the time, a lefty is used to fighting righties more than a righty fights lefties...

    experience.

Southpaws have their own weaknesses though: a good right hand puncher and a left hooker to the body will find a lot of success against the lefty(in a southpaw stance your liver is closer to the attacker)

He's right. Southpaws has been studying and fighting Orthodox most of their entire careers.
