How come compu-strike doesn't have the stats up yet? It shouldn't take this long to post the results, I smell something fishy! Fightmetric has done its job why hasn't compu-strike? I'm upset about this, hahaha.

You can argue with stats all night long but IMHO, i can't disagree with that. I could see compu-strike coming up with something pretty similar.

The number of leg kicks Shogun landed was brutal. Machida showed incredible heart. That will be a big focus in Machidas training camp for the rematch

the thing about it is Machida has never fought anybody who can match his speed. I don't think he believed it so he was suprised that those kicks where landing and was unprepared for it. I think he makes an adjustment but I'm not sure if it will matter. Shogun has devistating kicks when they land 1 of his is equal to 2 or 3 of everybody elses.

    the stats are pretty telling.

objectively, the decision should have favored shogun.

judges should be provided with this link...

you should never score a round based on stats. I think thats one fo the reasons why so many people think it was a robbery.

wasn't scoring it based on stats. i'm giving fair advantage to the fighter who is more aggressive and effective in doing so. In this case, shogun did. But at times, stats could also be very telling on a more objective standpoint.

even without those stats posted, i have scored it 4 rounds to 1 for shogun.:D

Its clear which fighter did the most damage too.

Machida looked the the man in pain at the end of the fight.

Shogun landed more leg kicks than Machida did total strikes. And those leg kicks were damaging and had Lyoto hobbling toward the end of the fight. It was a boring but smart game plan from Shogun. He took away Machida's movement, which made Mr. Elusive hittable. He should have won the decision, but alas, the judges sucked. Still, he took away Machida's movement and could have pressed the action. Shogun need to go in for the kill at the end.
