Back in May 2021 when Fightzone went on the air I bought a 1 year subscription. Are current customers at Fightzone compensated financially ? I was expecting Fightzone to have sent information to their current subscribers but I have heard nothing...?
I’m imagining that this isn’t going to be around for long. I did subscribe but actually, 90-95% of the fights weren’t competitive, they were prospect v journeyman, often the same journeymen, before an underwhelming main event. I expect they have got very few subscribers and this is a last roll of the dice. Eddie Hearn isn’t losing one wink of sleep over this.
To be fair Fightzone has actually had some pretty good main event fights at a nice british level, especially outdoors last summer in Sheffield.
Danny Kindman from Dubai pulling all the strings, is a very clever man and now sensibly sticking distance between himself and the promotions. That huge stable of fighters will be on TV one way or another.
He can't be that clever or else you'd expect him to of been sticking distance between himself and the promotions from the beginning. He should take a leaf out of Uncle Al's book!
He has learned and coming back stronger - all the major players and fighters deal with him. Thought he was done after the BBC documentary but he just took the blow on the chin, kept calm and carried on. Cannot stand drug dealing scum myself but looks like he is going to be a major player going forward in British, Irish and World Boxing.
