It's 1996 and the Roy who defeated McCallum is the best Roy ever (the one who had already beaten Hopkins and Toney) which has nothing to do with the boxer who was in clear decline and finished and who had been knocked out several times since the rematch with Tarver. McCallum was knocked down in that fight and lost 120-107 on all three scorecards. I wrote that McCallum was a very solid boxer, but that I had the impression (and I made it clear that this is only my impression) that Roy respected him by not forcing it too much, without any agreement between the two, but only out of respect for his friend Mike, whom was clearly beating (that's why I wrote 'in some ways' I think it was a fixed fight). I'll add another thought, I don't think Joshua-Prenga was a fixed fight.
Man, the education system in this country really has gone down the tubes. Coupled with social media and people, like you, have had their brains cooked. You do realize that we've been shown the video from Prenga's corner between Rounds 1 and 2, right? His own corner told him to be circumspect and not just go head hunting. Probably because they realized AJ wasn't that hurt. If some official had gone over and whispered in Prenga's ear someone would have seen it and commented on it. So, if Prenga wasn't told to dive after kicking AJ's ass in the first round, he'd have to have been told to take a dive before the fight, correct? If that's the case, why in hell would he go hell for leather after AJ in Round 1? I could understand maybe trying to make it look good/believable, but after that first knockdown where you'd almost blown the whole scam, why the hell would you continue attacking him full out? I know you probably didn't graduate high school and you seem to have zero critical thinking skills, but there's an old adage that goes, "Never attribute to malice that which can adequately be explained by incompetence." Prenga is not a high level boxer. He's not even a medium level boxer. His toughest fight up until this point was against Joey Dawejko. He has spent his entire career KO'ing absolute pies and puddings in Atlantic City. Take Wilder's miserable resume of absolute cab drivers and step it down about 100 times and you've got the level Kristian Prenga has been fighting at his whole career. So, rub those two brain cells you got fighting for third place together and think about what is more likely. A big conspiracy to fix this fight, a fight which they didn't absolutely have to have anyway and could have just gone straight into the Fury fight with zero risk; OR Prenga is just a shitty boxer, blew his load in the 1st round, didn't actually hurt AJ that bad, got tagged with the hardest shots he's ever taken in his life, and decided to shell up like a zillion boxers have done since time immemorial? Again, Eddie ****ing Hearn is not going to risk his entire career, business, and reputation on fixing a silly tune up fight with Kristian freaking Prenga. Especially considering it would have been much easier to pick a complete non-puncher who was even worse than Prenga for AJ to knock over or just flat out not have the fight period and go straight into fighting Fury. This was a voluntary tune up you goof. Yeah, mate, it was brilliant! I could have picked an absolute non-punching can for AJ to blast out of there for his tune up, but instead I picked a guy whose only half decent quality is that he can punch hard. Then I paid him off to take a dive! Ya know, just in case. But only after he knocks AJ over multiple times, embarrasses AJ immensely, and has everyone on planet Earth saying AJ's chin is gone and that he's shot to pieces. Totally will kill a ton of interest in the fight with Fury, too. I'm such a genius I even scare myself sometimes! Also, just as a side note, when you agree to take a dive in a fight you SELL a nothingburger punch as a KO shot. You don't allow a murderous power puncher like AJ to combo off on you and put your lights out so bad you almost break your back hitting the canvas/bottom rope like Prenga. When you commit insurance fraud you short stop in front of another car and let them rear end you at slow city driving speeds, you don't drive head on into a semi going 70MPH down the highway. And I know this is pointless because it's going to go in one ear, enter the vast cavernous nothingness of your head where there's only the lonely sound of the wind blowing, and then go right out the other ear, but you really got to drop the whole Glenn Beck, "I'm just asking questions!" style of "debate." Asking a bunch of questions you feel are rhetorical and prove your point isn't a legitimate argument. You're just throwing **** at the wall, hoping it sticks, and not actually proving anything or even making a coherent and logical argument. See, let me show you how dumb it sounds to actual somewhat intelligent people: Why were the American fighter jets on exercises over Canada and not in a position to respond to the high jacked planes? Why was everything blown to smithereens but they found one of the terrorists passports on the ground? Why did everyone report hearing explosions before the towers came down? Why did Building 7 fall straight into its own footprint like it had been intentionally demolished? Why did the FBI and the CIA and the other intelligence agencies know about Osama bin Laden and that he might want to attack but didn't share information? All questions designed to make it seem OBVIOUS that 9/11 was an inside job to anyone who doesn't have over a room temperature IQ and can't figure out that there are legitimate reasons/explanations for all these things.
Carrying a Disney channel influencer for a few rounds while he repeatedly dives at your crotch to stop the action isn't a fix. It's giving the crowd their money's worth and having a little fun before you finish things.
It should be a rule that anyone joining this forum has to answer whether Canelo vs Kovalev was fixed. Blows my mind that so many people thought that fight was real. Goes to show humans are extremely gullible. I remember it now, Kovalev pitty pattying Canelo, not even caring about what Canelo is throwing back yet being “scared” of midget Canelo’s scary big counterpunches. Yet he fights Yarde who is a way bigger puncher than Canelo, and he’s throwing every punch with intention, actually cautious of what Yarde is throwing back and knocks him out with a jab

There will probably never be an investigation, if you know what I mean... Try watching Canelo-Callum Smith without giggling. 6'2-6'3 agile Callum was applying 0 pressure with his jab and was swinging weak uppercuts out of range vs a 5'6 plodding Canelo. Ridiculous.
I can't watch that farce again. The main thing I get out of this is that I'm genuinely concerned for the human race, the fact millions watched this and follow blindly

Canelo wanted every advantage and stack of the deck for sure. But there were 70 days (10 weeks) between Sergey Kovalev's fight with Yarde and Alvarez. Surely about 3 weeks rest and then 7 weeks training should be enough time to prepare! Considering how much fighters used to be active! And the Yarde fight wasn't particularly tough for Kovalev apart from one round, he won every round apart from that and KO'd him with a jab. Alvarez was moving up in weight and isn't a big puncher. There's no other Kovalev fights were he pulls on his punches and taps like that! He's a guy that literally killed a man in the ring. I remember Angel Garcia in an interview before the fight being concerned for Alvarez's safety moving up to fight a murderous puncher in Kovalev,. And then all of a sudden he's fighting like a feather fisted amateur. There definitely was something up with that fight. That was not the real Kovalev in there. Big money talks. Kovalev was always under paid throughout his career.

Kovalev hesistation and reactions to Yarde's counters quite visible = actually concerned about his power Kovalev against Canelo ~ immediately starts throwing pawing light jabs, many of which with an arm not fully extended, looks like he doesn't even care. Canelo isn't countering/throwing punches nearly as many punches as Yarde. Even when he does Kovalev doesn't seem that bothered by it, and isn't heavily reacting to thrown punches by Yarde/really hesitating when throwing punches = not concerned about Canelo's 'power -- People claiming the card was just stacked against Kovalev are just frankly in denial. Kovalev is straight up not trying here
