He is a good fighter, but he is a little mechanical in someways with his left hook and needs a little more seasoning. Davis on the other hand is exceptional. Garcia can still do ok, but the way he was stopped will always plaque him a little.. I could be wrong.
Rumoured he's going back to Reynoso which is a good move. I think he regressed under Goosen. He used to counter punch a lot more and that's slowly started to vanish from his game since leaving Reynoso. He used to patiently wait for an opponent to lead then counter with a check hook or right hand. Now he presses more, looking to lead, not waiting for a counter and too often being the one leading, which was always going to be the wrong tactic vs Davis.
