I have a problem with ****s like Mayweather being marked as some kind of successor to the Ali persona. This guy is barely able to string a sentence together. Ali was not just loud and arrogant. He was also witty, articulate and charismatic and these latter characteristics, which were the most important factors in his legendary personality, are what's missing from his pale imitators.
i agree completely, ali was intelligent and clever, he didnt have to use profanity but relied on his wit and charisma to keep the audience engaged
if he was intelligent and clever then he wouldn't have been a racist. Besides, a lot of Alis comments were fed to him by the Nation of Islam.
Ali was a self absorbed ****...and very similar in personality to Floyd. Some of you need to do some more reading/less assuming.
