Doesn't add anything to mayweather's legacy. Hey cotto can beat canelo first pick up a title and they can unify the division with a fight.

No need. it's likely that it would go the same sort of way as again. Although the fight was great I'm not too sure I'd be willing to pay to see the same thing happen again.

Yes. I'd like to see Cotto pick up one of the other belts first then challenge Floyd again.

I am not up for it. I think it is a general consensus that it is a finished story, good effort from Cotto and nothing to be ashamed of, nothing like DLH who had to retire after the Pacquaio beating or Tito after the Wright shutout loss ( even tho he came to make so more money with another man in need in RJJ). Mayweather has a lot of ptions and Cotto is not finished as yet.

For what, the result will be the same or Mayweather getting a ko/tko over Cotto.

No because he still wont win. May be the best opponent Floyd has taken in a while. Instead of a rematch should fight someone else who is a bigger challenge

That would be sweet, but that ain't gonna happen unless Cotto wins the rematch in Vegas first to force a rubber match in NY.

Floyd won't want to fight there anyway because of the taxes.

I'd like to see it. I would like to see how Cotto does with a different approach, like having Mayweather lead and Miguel being the counter puncher. I think Cotto only did that for a little bit in the middle rounds, caught Floyd with a good shot and then went back to stalking.
