I've been wondering this for awhile now. After workout, I'm usually hungry and can eat a lot. Tonight, I went to Burger King the fast food place and ordered a few things, large fry and a couple of double cheeseburgers. I usually workout out for a hour and a half, jump roping, drills in the ring, heavy bag time for like 15 minutes and mule kicks and 50 push-ups throughout practice. Would that fast food really harm me after the workout?

What is the point of working hard and then eating junk? It will be better for you to eat a pack lunch such as pasta and chicken; healthy sandwiches; fruits such as bananas, apples, grapes etc; home made soothies.

These foods can be easily made and are accessible all the time and you just need to put them in your gym bag.

Yeah, I might just do that. I'm just wondering if it would hurt me at all or just exit out the workout I did.

Working out doesn't magically make fast food less harmful to your body. All that fake processed stuff, saturated fat, sodium, non-nutrional calories, etc. are never really going to be good for you. But, if you want to eat it, go ahead. Obviously it will just be better to cheat very rarely as opposed to indulge in fast food often.

Edit: Since you said you're often very hungry after working out, if you can't control your cravings and need to eat a lot why not just eat a bunch of healthier stuff instead of the fast food?

Eat a pot of cottage cheese with chives, salt + pepper

Costs like £1 for a 600g pot and that should fill you up

I've noticed that regardless of how hard or frequently I train, eating fast food will feel like it's putting a dent in my progress.

Specifically from an energy stand point, eating fast food will make me sluggish and I find it much harder the day after to complete my routine after eating it.

    Sluggish = :ko

If you do it consistently, you will gain weight which you may or may not want.
Once in a while, it won't harm you and does the mind good.

There's no real correlation between affecting your skills or stamina if you have a binge once in a while. IF you do it consistently though it's a different story.

Normally i cook extra food for dinner, eat some a couple of hours before, then eat more when i get home. Give me home cooked food over fast food any day

Yeah when I say fast food, it's usually once every maybe 2-3 weeks and that may not be good either. I do prefer a home made meal over fast food as someone said above, though I'm living by myself and I can't cook to save my life so it's usually simple stuff. What if I eat a pasta meal such as spaghetti with sauce and butter after work out and that's the only thing I had during the day, will that really matter? Note I have a 2,000+ calorie intake I should be getting, though I only get at most 1,000 a day.

Nesquik chocolate milkshake with a mushed up banana.

Couple of scoops of Nesquik chocolate milkshake power
3/4 of a pint of milk
    Banana chopped into smallish bits
Put it all in a glass and use hand blender to mush it all up.

    WIN

It comes down to just understanding how your body operates based on what you eat. When I was trying to put weight on, I would eat fast food afterwards because I had a high calorie intake I needed to match due to having a high metabolism(high energy type of guy) and all the physical activity throughout the day would burn off what I needed. Eat too much of it though and I started to get a bit fatter, followed by the issue of feeling like my energy was sapped the very next day.

The only thing I could possibly recommend is to be eating throughout the day(which you may already be doing), rather than trying to get all your food intake in the standard 2-3 meals we are accustomed to.
Fruits and Veggies are like nature's candy bars.
