Hi guys, this is my first post so go easy on me . I was wondering if there is any footwork drills you would like to share, as sometimes my rear foot is too behind my lead foot, causing me to be unbalanced when throwing or getting hit. Thanks in advance.
There are loads and loads. Plyometrics and skipping are your main ones. Search footwork drills on youtube

try shoulder width stance, aim your lead foot between your opponent's legs, keep feet on the ground, try not to bounce, lots of skipping,
The video's aplin posted are great for improving overall agility and coordination, you could also do ladder drills for example. You could do the same as with a warming up (general warming up followed by sports specific warming up), first general agility drills then sports specific agility exercises. Shadowboxing for example, concentrating on movement. What also works for me is roadwork. Instead of just running do a lot of side to side and backwards movement, and change direction often.
I feel you thats how most of my running is I try shuffling inside and out and do some carioca and some occassional backwards running.
what we do at our gym is foot boxing where 2 fighters go into boxing stance and have to stand on each others toes it sounds stupid but it gets you moving good as everyone is watching
