What if Ali and Foreman had a rematch the following year?

Ali would be the champion, and they would use a large ring. The rope-a-dope wouldn't work this time, but Muhammad don't need it to win, he got the style, durability and speed to beat Foreman.

    Ali UD or late stoppage.

Foreman would try not to over extend himself but Ali would find it easier to pick off George from long range. There would be less of a need for the rope a dope and rounds would go by with Ali winning the vast majority. Around the 11th round Foreman is as exhausted as he was in round 8 of the first fight. Ali lands a couple right hands and Foreman goes down and is counted out. Foreman just did not have the stamina to fight at a quick pace for more than 5-6 rounds.

4man would have won possibly by stoppage given that he was aware of y he "lost" de 1st time and fought his usual fight like he did in Zaire .

No heat , no Dick Saddler , no loose ropes & no loose referee means a 4man victory . No2mention that he was also cut/injured prior 2 their actual fight .

Ali knew that, so he never rematched fourman.

I doubt how much Ali knew/planned . Ali was a puppet moved by Mirena and co .

By '76 Ali was shot. Barely getting by Norton. I dont know how much Don King had to with the decision, but Foreman II was the last match he or Alis' managment wanted.

He still doesn't have the stamina to last 15 with Ali

He's not going to get a decision over him either IMO

Foreman has repeated many times that Ali refused to give him a rematch unless Foreman used Dick Saddler as a trainer. He also told Foreman that he wanted some "money fights" before he took a chance by fighting him again.

I don't know how it would have turned out, but I'm convinced that Ali thought Foreman might beat him.
