That's a nice writeup. I'm just curious on the sources this is coming from (Where Teddy claims this to happen). It puts both Moore and Atlas in good light (Not that I don't have a problem with that). I tend to like Atlas a lot more than most here. I think he's an underrated trainer even with all the showmanship and inspirational speeches in the corner like it's a sports film. I still think the guy is good and I think he's a good announcer. A little stubborn and possibly a bit of an egomaniac that doesn't know how to handle everything, but nevertheless seems like a decent person/trainer (Mostly on a boxing standpoint).
Foreman was too bidness like after winning back the crown.................. Foreman is my man, but, he is also the blame as to why his rematch with Moorer and his ill-fated fight with Larry Holmes never took place............. It was all money problems / issues...... foreman is a wolf in sheeps clothing, always has been, i never bought into the good old george ****, away from the camara he was the same moody, nasty piece of work that he had always been, any way he knew double m would of just done in the rematch what he done for most of the first fight and give him a boxing lesson thats why there was no rematch. Off the topic a little bit here but big george always avoided jerry quarry after geting his ass handed to him in sparring by jerry. :hi:
Your last statement is complete speculative. What's funny is, you're getting the ducking thing from what Foreman said. Foreman never needed to fight Jerry or needed to go through him to prove anything. Foreman said a lot of things, including he was scared of Norton. But using Foreman word as proof on one of the all time non-ducks is what makes your statement quite ironic.
