He'd be lucky to see the bell at the end of the first.

If Patterson doesn't wilt with fear like he did against Liston. His handspeed, footspeed and overall boxing skills could possibly get him into the middle rounds against Foreman. If he survives Foreman's early power and makes it to the middle rounds, quite possibly he wins a UD. The likely result points to an early Foreman KO, but I'd give prime Patterson a little more credit than that. In both Liston fights, he was beaten at the press conference and didn't give himself a chance.

first round ko. patterson didn't belong in the same ring with foreman. One or two uppercuts and that's all she wrote.

I have to agree and say 1st round KO. Not sure he gets up after the first knockdown.

Much like the rest of the posters here, I'd have to predict a short-lived bout in which Patterson visits the canvas several times. Patterson fought fairly few heavyweights with one punch knockout power. Ingemar Johansson being one, who floored Patterson a total of 9 times in their first and third match-ups. Chuvalo notched a good number of KOs, but mostly against mediocre opposition, and his were hardly one-punch KOs. Cooper had one-punch power, but he was hardly a skilled boxer and really only had only the left hook to rely on to put people to sleep. Then of course there was Liston, who demolished Patterson in brutal fashion in the first round of both of their bouts. A prime Foreman was bigger, faster, and hit harder than Liston. I'll give Patterson the benefit of the doubt and say that he makes it to the third round, but he goes down several times on the way to the final KO.

Liston was a beast, there's no doubt about that. The above assertions are just my humble opinion.
