    No he wasn't.

Martinez charged round the ring like a mad man and caught Quigg a few times. Had little to do with boxing ability.

Scott looked utterly clueless in the at times in the first.

Like the proverbial deer in the headlights!

Kiko lost that fight as much as Quigg won it.
It was his own lack of respect for Quigg that cost him.
If he had shown a bit more respect for Quigg, and just reined in his bull-in-a-china shop reckless aggression, and boxed like he did v Frampton, maybe he could have battered Quigg.
Certainly Quigg looked poor in the time it lasted.
Team Quigg say it was all part of some 'Cunning Plan' to defeat Kiko.
But just remember they said that 'being behind at the half-way point versus Salinas' was ALSO part of a 'Cunning Plan' too.

Hard to read too much into early-rounds one-punch turnarounds. The winner is rerely as good as he looked - the loser is rarely as bad as he looked.

The bitterness just oozes out of you. It's so delightful.

Anyone with half a brain knew Scott would be on the back-foot whilst the come-forward brainless plodder that is Kiko did his best to try and force the pace.

I said prior to the fight that Kiko would get destroyed and he did.

In a far more convincing fashion that Carl managed too. And boy does it hurt you.

Bet alot of people have changed their tune aswell. Proves how fickle some boxing fans can be. I still pick Frampton to beat Quigg should they fight

One thing is for sure, always thought it was true but now it has been proven- Quigg is the power puncher of the two!! That I feel could be all the difference especially seeing how easily Frampton was knocked down twice in that first round!! If Quigg gets him hurt, he wont let up and there will be no end to the punishment!! Have always maintained that it would be a close fight between the two favouring Frampton on points (as a Quigg fan) but events at the weekend have me wondering if it really is a 50/50 fight now!!??

After watching Frampton getting floored twice by the no.56 in the world, I worry who Barry Mc is going to dig up for his next opponent.

It's hilarious seeing the quigg haters claim that kiko was dominating the fight before being brutally stopped in the 2nd round.

How the fcuk can you claim a fighter was dominating a fight after just 1 round.

Kiko won the round yes but to say he was dominating the fight. Calm yourselves down!

Good point. A 12 round fight is a marathon, not a sprint. A bad first round means nothing. I mean looks at Frampton.

Loses 1st 10-7 then whitewashes the remaining 11. Awesome stuff. :happy
