I have this really top secret device at home called a sky box which allows me to record programmes whilst watching another channel. I will probably watch the Frampton card live avoid the forums and then watch Khan. Interms of the better event- it doesn’t matter really. Both Frampton and Khan are on the way down/out so anything can happen.
Frampton card, it's much better. Main event will be closer than most think and the rest of the card is just generally more interesting. Coyle-Dodd should be heaps of fun but other than that there isn't anything to look at on the Sky one.
Khan / Sky show live. Frampton on Sunday morning probably. For me SKY put on a more enjoyable evening's entertainment. (Even if the commentary is dog ****)
Tete-Narvaez, Cummings-Keeler are good matches. And I'd hardly call Lewis Crocker and David Oliver Joyce non punchers!
Carroll/McCullough is off after Carroll sustained a cut. shame really, aside from all the hard work the boxers mustve put in, only to get to fight week and have it fall apart, I was quite looking forward to that fight
Keeler hasn’t stopped anyone for 3 1/2 years and he’s fought nobodies. Cummings isn’t the biggest puncher. It’s got snorefest all over it. Who are Crocker and Joyce fighting? Exactly.
Can't understand fragility being such a unique selling point and being rebranded as exciting This means boxing is full of exciting fighters which I don't agree
It’s going to be interesting to see what Khan’s got left. 2 years out the game, surgery on both hands. I don’t rate Lo Greco but he certainly likes to make a go of it to be fair to him. He went toe to toe with Spence and never gave in against Porter. If Khan doesn’t put him away early, I can see the usual losing his discipline stuff and getting into a ego scrap. Lo Greco slaps with his shots though so can’t see him at too much risk of getting knocked down.
never seen Greco but his record looks very poor and he doesn't look like a boxer lol, I'd imagine he's a typical Khan opponent - with feather fists.
Bit harsh there scissors. Surprised you're so critical of the Belfast boxers. Keeler and Cummings are good boxers and solid punchers....and in any case it's perfectly possible to have a good competitive fight even if the boxers involved are not big punchers. So it's hardly gonna be a "snooze fest" in fairness, scissors. I expect a good fight. Also tete is very very good and he Deffo is a big puncher. Navarez has an excellent pedigree too. Even with the unfortunate injury pull-outs it's still a good bill IMO.
It’s not a good bill, it’s not the worst bill. It’s a bill that’s better than the sky bill! I think if the khan fight weren’t the same date people wouldn’t be over enthused about it but because there’s a poor card on the other channel it’s getting a bit more credit. Also I think Tete is one of the most overrated boxers out there. @CST80 done a good write up on the general forum about him.
