He went the distance with Donaire quite recently. He was maybe a little tired late on, but difficult to judge as he was well ahead by then and maybe just eased off?
I may be wrong here cause Warrington still not lost but I can't help think that this is not a fight that people are making it to be. Don't get me wrong I'm interested in it but only to see how Warrington fares. I think there is a level between these two and Frampton would beat him every day of the next three years. I can see this as one man who is very much a world class fighter and belongs up there with top two or three in world vs a decent British champ who would fall short against top 5. Let's face it Selby doesn't count as a great win due to him needing to be at lightweight never mind super feather
I'm going balls out on this, even though Frampton is the better fighter, Warrington will beat him on his sheer workrate. Frampton has gas tank problems and I think he's been in too many wars now. He will get old overnight, Warrington is the younger fresher man and I think he wins this.
Remember quigg? His fans at the time said exactly the same thing. Superfit gym rat, huge size, relentless workrate etc etc and crucially quigg can dig. Quigg has serious power. That's undeniable.. .Quigg has a serious punch. The thing here is Josh doesn't have power. Frampton doesn't have to worry about Josh's punch power. Punch output yes.. .But no power. Frampton beat quigg relatively easily. ..And broke his jaw. Once he got in there with Carl Quigg actually fought negatively. Josh might be forced to do the same once he tastes Carl's power. Have those backing Josh considered this at all?
Unless it's escaped your notice Len, Carl was at 122 when he fought quigg. 126 is a different ball game, as I'm sure you know.
I remember it being nearly 3 years ago yeah. Frampton has been in about 5 wars since then. He is shop-worn and looking for a final payday.
....and ...if you REALLY do want to be fair. ...he's also worse than others give him credit for. He has 2.....count em .. Two.... decent wins. Both opponents .. Formerly decent.. ..were shot to sh1t. He has less kos than Carl's has title fights. People need to get real here. Completely unproven.

Closer it gets, the more I'm edging towards Frampton. That Depending if the timing and stamina are still there, featherweights can often age over night. The card is absolutely huge btw, hope its not another 00:30 main event.
