The point was what he’s doing is totally money orientated not that he doesn’t do anything for charity..............he wants to make big fights off the back of Matchroom and he’s desperate to do the Fury AJ fight ASAP before he loses out on a huge show in the UK by not being involved in negotiations as we all know he doesn’t manage or promote Fury
Youre missing the point it’s not about him doing anything for charity......

Agreed. Dubois needs to step up, seriously step up, they can't spout off about how good he is and then fight this level of opponent even if it is a "keep busy" fight, it needs to be better than this or it's completely pointless.

I do believe Dubois is legit, but he as to prove it by beating solid opponents.

But I'll think we will find this is about £££, I bet this new opponent isn't being paid the same as the original opponent.

I personally believe Frank can't pay for good opponents for his fighters, that's why he wants Dubois to jump the queue and fight Whyte.

But Frank isn't offering Whyte a bag full of dough, he isn't saying "we've made Whyte a career high payday" or "Whyte is being offered huge money". Nope, Frank wants Eddie to pay half (at least).

Hearn had to pay the likes of Parker good money to come over and fight Whyte, Rivas, Chisora, Povetkin also, look at the list of fighters Whyte has fought over the last few years, they all cost decent enough money.

If Dubois is legit and he is the real deal then should be targeting the likes of Bakole, Hrgovic, Rivas, maybe even Michael Hunter and right now I don't think those opponents would be overly expensive.

But I don't think FW can afford to do those fights, because if he could he would and that's why he wants Hearn to help him out, he wants the fights but only wants to pay half.

Do you think Warren deliberately says ''for the fans'' cause he knows people have clocked that he says it a lot or it's just habit?

I've noticed he's saying it even more now :lol:cracks me up everytime

I prefer positive, slightly sarky Frank to the negative Frank of around five years ago.

He does make some valid points re: Sky perhaps not wanting to risk Joshua against Fury in the short term as to lose their one sure fire PPV draw.

Mate, are you forgetting that Dubois was due to fight Joyce in April before Covid and its rescheduled for later in the year? Which makes most of your post sound like nonsense IMO.

Joyce’s deal is for very high 6 figures- far more money than Rivas and Hrgovic etc are on...

In terms of Whytes opponents, Parker etc were all on PPV and Dillian owns the show. I obviously don’t know how there deals are made up, but I’m guessing they all took flat fees or Parker being a big name after the AJ fight probably got a percentage deal. All Eddie has to do is underwrite it - but he’s deducting that when the money comes in.

Now Eddie deserves all the praise in the world for developing Dillian into PPV, but now he’s established he isn’t paying out for F all basically - the PPV mugs like me are coping the bill.

If you want to talk about paying out for opponents how about Warren paying out 1.5m for Warrington- Galahad on standard BT...
