First of all I’d like to see a lot of those fights but I just feel this adds to more barriers being put up. Sky don’t need a cross promotion, BT certainly do by recent viewing numbers.

Put some of these fights to purse bids and let Buatsi fight on BT if Frank wins the bid or let Joyce fight on Sky if Matchroom wins the bid. Etc.

That’s the easiest solution.

 

I forgot Frank has some decent fighters in his stable. Wish we'd see a bit more of them

Wont happen, boxing is not about making the best fights, well not anymore.

Thing is, it’s not just the promoters - it’s the fighters with their own worth. The money wouldn’t be there for Chisora to get in with Joyce , Whyte just isn’t gonna fight Dubois. AJ - Fury is definitely gonna happen but that’s because literally everyone wants to see it , and not just boxing fans.

 

Reminds of pro wrestling when two promotions would clash.

The story behind it would be one of the promotions was in deep financial trouble and needed something big to happen to turn it around and the end result would be that promotion would then go out of business.

UWFI v NJPW is the best example of this.

In theory this all sounds great but I really don't believe Warren would propose this unless he was trying to dig himself out a hole.

As someone else said how the fcuk would you pay for Chisora v Joyce? Chisora only fights now for huge money.

Whyte v Dubois? C'mon that just not realistic.

 

Warren wouldn’t even let Jenkins face Benn at “Fight Camp” though would he.

Words and a publicity stunt is one thing, actions will speak louder...

 

Hearn is good at getting his fighters big fights, Warren not so much

 

Whyte v Dubois would do decent PPV numbers I think.

 

Yarde v Buatsi needs to happen. Love that fight.

 

Frank has done this all his career. He knows Hearn won't play so there's no harm in making a gesture. Does anybody else remember the ad's in Boxing News calling Charlie Magri out to fight Keith Wallace ?

 

It makes perfect sense for both to fight early next year. It allows them to generate some big money without
having to go near a beast like Beterbiev or the other beasts at 175lb.

 

Great idea but as far as i'm aware they have never even had a conversation. Frank very obviously hates Eddie and Eddie would like nothing more than to finish Frank off for good. I can only see this being spun by either party one way or another.

I think if you’re serious then pick up a phone and arrange a meeting. Publicise the fact that you’ve called Eddie, want to meet him and get this done.
