He shouldn’t mention Tyson again until he’s ready to step back in a ring.

Frank is deluded if he thinks AJ will leave matchroom. There is no reason for him to leave as he gets lots of money, his popularity is getting bigger and bigger under Hearn and Eddie is delivering all the fights to get him all the belts.
The only reason Frank wants him is because it would guarantee him stadium fights and money where currently he can't even sell out the copperbox. It's funny that the upcoming card has been cancelled and he is talking about rearranging in the smaller York Hall.
We talk about Frank putting up good competition to matchroom which would only be a positive for UK boxing but unfortunately the realistic view is that Frank is miles behind.

I tend to think this as well. AJ gets a great deal from matchroom. They take 20% which leaves AJ with a huge pot. As long as matchroom deliver the fights I can't see AJ going it alone.

Going it alone entails work, promotional work which he doesn't need to be doing.

I just don't get the impression from AJ or Hearn that there relationship is coming to an end. They look as tight as ever.

Why Warren is talking about AJ v Fury I don't know. Fury hasn't fought for ages and he should be more concerned with getting Fury back in the ring to see where his at.

The HBO and Showtime duel telecast isnt really the same as say hypothetically Sky and BT for AJ v Fury.

HBO and Showtime have only ever done this for mega fights where the fight had to be split due to both fighters being such PPV draws that neither network was rightly not going to to miss out.

    Lennox v Tyson
    Mayweather v Pacquiao

I don't count AJ v Vlad as it wasn't PPV.

AJ v Fury isn't the same. Fury isn't worth to BT what AJ is to Sky.

We have no idea how Fury if he comes back would draw on BT PPV but we know he isn't drawing anywhere close to the numbers AJ draws.

Unrealistic to expect sky to give BT ppv revenue all on the back of there fighter who is the much bigger draw.

I don’t believe frank is miles behind. We have all debated this to death, but putting AJ to one side who is a phenomenon Frank really is not far off.

Just a few examples, He’s delivered Selby v Warrington - which Eddie couldn’t. Infact Selby was in almost complete limbo with Eddie, and Warrington left for Frank. Warren has put this fight together very quickly and efficiently.

He’s signed Frampton ahead of Eddie.
And if he beats Donaire he’s obviously going to fight the winner which will be another big fight.

Frank knows any AJ v Fury fight will not be a BT ppv only platform fight but hes loudly claiming it could be as he's no doubt trying to sell Fury a sales pitch saying he's confident of delivering this to get Fury to sign with him.

Not really true. Once Selby signed with Haymon just as Degale did he wasn't a priority for Matchroom. Selby did that to himself.

As for Selby v Warrington, Matchroom offered Warrington the fight and they declined.

The point still stands, Hearn failed to make the fight. Whoever apparetly ducked who is irrelevant-Selby and Degale went for the Haymon money as anybody else in their position would have done.

Hearn, desperate not to let it seem like he has taken a loss was Happy to dress it up at the time that he “remained their promoters for UK fights, blah, blah, blah” with nothing coming off for either.

I agree Selby and Degale did nothing wrong in earning what they could however at the same time don't then complain if Hearn puts more time into other fighters.

They couldn't have it both ways
