I really hope that someone is keeping an eye on old Frankie.

In the space of a week he’s seen his two biggest prospects get exposed (one by a one-armed man) and all of the time and money he and BT have invested in them has gone up in smoke.

Hearn must be laughing into his cornflakes this morning.

He needs to employ Chris Eubank Sr to run the company for him, as he goes upstairs as Director of Operations. Chris will sort it out, send him scouting the gyms to poach young talent before McCracken gets them.

He really needs to invest in recruitment.

As it stands he’s got Joyce as a headliner at the minute.
Yarde and Dubois will be rebuilding against no marks. They surely can’t be headlining shows in 1/50 fights.

The best thing Frank could do is go and snatch someone from Matchroom and show there’s fight in the old dog yet. Or bury the hatchet with the Eubank’s.

Dennis McCann looks good but he’s years away from competing. I don’t think Frank has got years left.

Anyone half decent he has will go to top rank or matchroom. He's championship and never threatening to get to the big leagues.

His fighters are two bob, his promotional skills are two bob and his shows are two bob. His bitterness towards the Hearns though is of a high grade pharmaceutical standard.

Frank has had a great career and time stops for nobody.

His sons lack the charisma and world class selling skills of Eh Day Hearn so it does look curtains for Frank's boxing promotion future when he retires.

Yep that was a bummer of a week for Frankie boy. BT must be wanting a rethink in 2021 if there aren’t some big draws from his stable. Yarde in my opinion isn’t a draw anyway he’s too full of himself and has now shown he can’t switch style so will never make it as top dog and his trainer is deluded. DDD in my opinion is done, he has the physical and phycological issues to conquer from this defeat and I can’t see that happening next time he gets peppered.

Frankie boy you’ve got a lot of thinking to do....

Warren sadly is a dinosaur in this day and age. Fighters and management teams are all way more aware of revenue splits etc, the game has moved on. The days of the million pound offer on a cheque to a fighter just doesn’t cut it anymore.

That said Frank has been down and out a number of times - very resilient man. Just not a good week with Yarde and Dubois.

Frank still has life left in him but I said a while back that he should have assumed a role of a manager rather than promoter after the decline of Boxnation and then he pulled the BT deal out of the bag. He’s lost a lot of his biggest fighters since like Warrington and Billy Joe. Maybe post pandemic is his excuse to either wind down or scale down to management. As someone else said he tried to groom Francis as a successor but he had zero personality when he fronted press conferences.

I think Haye made the same realisation when he had a stint as a promoter recently. He’s since become a manager which is the better approach really.

Part of me thinks Warren May be waiting for Matchroom’s Sky deal to wind down before trying to swoop and getting some more shows on Sky but who knows.

Regardless of Sky or BT he desperately needs talent.
Olympics coming up soon so maybe in the next year he can pick up some talent from that but I’m of the belief Hearn has deals with the McCormacks and McGrail already.

Talks of Franks demise is laughable.

Dubois next fight will draw huge views- everybody loves a come back.
Yarde with a few minor adjustments can easily beat Arthur in a rematch.
He’s promoting Herring v Frampton In Jan.
Taylor v Ramirez is likely for BT and if in the UK will also be promoted by him in early 2021
Joyce will be in a big fight early 2021.

Frank has arguably got the most exciting young talents in the UK in Bentley, Hutchinson, McCann, Hamza Sherraz, and Mo Ali

I think if it wasn’t and AJ fight week where it could blow up in Hearns face this weeks IFL video would have been hilarious.

I think the end of the year one will be fun if AJ wins. If I was Hearn I would be looking to put the knife in 2021.

if he can go at franks stable me lure the likes of Joyce, Jenkins, Metcalf, Bentley and even Yarde lured away it would really drive it home in the UK that Frank is done

The big issue is Dubois will need to fight someone with a pulse otherwise people will say it’s the same old story. See Anthony Yarde.

frampton is a good fight but leads to nothing beyond that. Ramirez can Taylor is a US fight all day long. No way does Ramirez take that fight in the UK. On top of that to make it here it would have to be PPV and would do terrible numbers.

Young talents agreed some great fighters but they need to be promoted and marketed properly franks too old school to change and the promotion from the likes of matchroom is leagues above. Unless they are built in a certain way and a story is told otherwise the end up like Arthur, heffron, catterall and Sharp and no casual has a clue who they are. Imagine if Yarde and Arthur was built over the last 18 months like Hearn would have built Buatsi vs Yarde.

Yarde who knows if Arthur wins again he’s done. Joyce will be in nothing but tick overs with a title short on the horizon and being 35 years old.

Dubois ratings against Bums like Snielders and Fujimoto dwarfs the figures that Hearn is getting on Sky, that’s just fact. He is now far better known after the Joyce fight last week - we can bump this when he comes back, but he will draw BT huge numbers on his come back, whoever he fights.

No casuals fans have a clue who the likes of Josh Kelly, Cordina, Fowler etc are either, so I don think that is a valid criticism.

Yarde is better known than Buatsi and his figures from last night will also be higher than anything he’s done on Sky, so this notion that Frank can’t build fighters is redundant since he’s been on BT.

Joyce will demand big money now, so I doubt he will accept tick over opponents, unless Frank over pays him - either way, he will also do big no’s now.
