    well its the olympics in the summer so i expect a few of our top amateurs including gavin to turn pro afterwards.

    exactly - afterwards but not before - that would be commercial suicide.

    Drop the chance to become a "national hero" and get mainstream recognition - no thanks!

    yeah the media attention he will recieve after te olympics will be massive, especially if he can repeat his performance at the world championships and come home with the gold.

    i think as soon as the olymipcs are over he will turn pro
