It depends on how big Holyfield is for his strength & size to impose on Frazier. Of course this is a prime matchup so the Incredible Hulk-sized Holy that fought Tyson is not going to be facing Frazier here. I see the one who beat Bowe giving Frazier many problems by boxing and fighting very smart. I rewatched Holyfield/Qawi 1 today(great fight BTW) and he went life and death with Qawi(yes this was at a different division but still) having MANY close rounds with him. Qawi is very comparable to Joe but Frazier is better than Qawi and I think could always pose problems for Holyfield as a Qawi at a good condition could. I lean towards Frazier but both men in this great fight would not be the same here ala Corrales/Castillo.

  2. what a post of ****ing idiot ignorant

  3. any version of frazier was stronger than holyfield, joe was 5´11 he never trained weights and he weighed 205-217 in 1969-72. holyfield was a cruiser who trained weights like a madman, he was 6´2 but he had very light structure of bones,he weighed 208-210 in his prime at hw, past prime holyfield weighed 218pounds against tyson, past prime frazier weighed 224 pounds against foreman in 1976. 1 leg of frazier was as big as 2 legs of evander. frazier had more stamina too, he was harder puncher and he had equal heart if not more. bert cooper almost knocked prime evander out, joe frazier would stop holyfield for sure.

hoylfield was mightily hard to clinch because of his heading movement and ducking holyfield wouldnt be able to get hold of him unless he held at the back of the head like ali did in fight 2

I still remember (1972) Ron Stander coming forward, after taking Joe's best shots.

I would say this fight goes 15 Rounds.

  6. ron stander was much stronger than holyfield of natural way , he was 5´11 218-230 pounds... frazier was not in his peak against stander and still he stoped ron in 5 rounds.. holyfield was down in his peak against bert cooper please... frazier had the style to break evander.
    very bad example my friend

    Yes,,but Burt could punch.

Ron Stander had medium-power only, and was backing Joe up.

  8. medium power? 38(29ko) is better than medim power.cooper had 37(31ko) WOW GREAT DIFFERENCE AND THE MAJORITY OF THIS %KO WAS AT CRUISER. NOT AT HW. again... stander was a beast physically, he used his physical strength. and frazier did hit much harder than cooper and he had much better pack, evander was in his peak against cooper, frazier was not in his peak against stander. and like i said, stander was stoped in 5, ron was a much stronger guy than holyfield. like you know , styles make fights and frazier is one of the few guys who would beat holyfield 100% in my opinion.
