my word.....the confidence? ya im sure he was confident he could beat a corpse oscar...a hatton that almost got knocked out at home by juan lazcano....a margs who got housed by shane then looked bad against a nobody....a shane who got housed by floyd...then drew with mora who lost to bryan vera....and clottey who stands and covers up

while freddie can be ******ed at times....he isnt stupid....floyd is a different animal...he is nothing like anything pac has faced....freddie can say whatever he wants...but hes not pushing for any floyd fight...and the reality is...they may consult freddie and ask what they feel their chances are against certain opponents....but this guy is not pushing for any floyd fight....stop kidding yourself

At this level CONFIDENCE should be a part of your DNA! Beating DLH the way he did only increased those levels in the confidence department for Manny.

Funny you say DLH was a corpse yet he did about as well as all of PAC's BIGGER opponents. If anything PAC made DLH into a corpse by the end of the fight. Someone Floyd struggled in route to etching out a Majority decision over DLH a year earlier.

Hatton again....did A LOT better than anyone expected against Floyd at 147 (FLOYD's Weight class) yet got completely destroyed in 2 rounds using Floyd's Father as a trainer and at Ricky's BEST weight.

Shane and Josh came to survive and they did what most failed to do with manny....make it 12 rounds. Shane proved he wasn't anywhere near being the fighter he once was when Floyd beat him.... a year before PAC did.

Roach isn't stupid....neither is Floyd. It's a telling sign when Roach is pushing for his fighter to get a shot at Floyd and Floyd himself is doing everything in his power to avoid him.

Floyd knows PAC is a different animal, just like Roach and PAC know Mayweather is a difficult challenge.

The difference is the CONFIDENCE between both sides. Floyd is lacking in confidence where PAC and Roach exude it.

In boxing CONFIDENCE is a necessity and Floyd knows it. He's not going into ANY fight without it and that's the reason we see how he's re-acted to all the drama about facing PAC.

I don't think it's possible for me to "kid" myself in this situation. The writing is on the wall for anyone to see if they aren't in denial. Unfortunately some seem to be fooled by Mayweather's mouth, but I find that difficult to believe. Unless we're talking about mentally ******ed folks who weigh in on the subject.

I feel Freddie Isn't the only trainer out there that cherry-picks for his fighters, I believe all trainers see something that they feel they can exploit and the only reason they would initially send a fighter out there is because they believe they can beat them due to a flaw they have found with their opponent, so yes, Freddie Roach is a cherry-picker but a lot of trainers and promoters are.

In the case of Manny, I believe the "Picking" has been pretty clever, it gets people talking and people believing there can be an upset but one never happens. But lets not pretend there isn't any initial risk with the likes of Shane Mosley or Margarito, and nobody gave Manny a chance before the Oscar fight, because nobody knew that Oscar would turn up in such a bad way. So I believe some of the hate aimed at him is a little misguided.

I am not a fan of Manny or Floyd, I am getting sick of hearing about them to be honest, I think there are so many other boxers and fights out there that deserve more attention.

freddie always overhypes his opponents, gives them a false sense of security, gives his fighter the edge.

u said "freddies confidence in pac isnt in question"....so freddies confidence in pac should be in freddies dna???

ya freddie is confident in pac against just about anyone...except floyd...hes a completely different animal....one week freddie was saying floyd would be an easy fight...the next hes saying "wed need to fight the perfect fight" and "we need alot of time to prepare for that fight"....lol...sounds like exuding confidence!!....freddie was the one that said floyd wouldnt stand with shane and trade...and that he had to get on his bike and run to beat shane.....he was shown the complete opposite....and it was done purposely by floyd....and after that freddie said "oh his legs are gone"....freddie aint that stupid...lol...he knows exactly what hed be in for....

i understand you tards need to hold on to the belief that floyd is ducking and "scared" of your boy....but reality is pacs camp has shown no more willingness to get it done

your boy and his team have never shown what they are willing to do contractually

his promoter even imposed some deadline on his company website for floyd to sign a "contract".....but we never saw or heard what exactly was in the contrat....in fact..he fielded a conference call after the deadline had passed...he was asked point blank "what concessions did manny make this time around in regards to testing"....his answer "i cant comment on that".....gee thanks bob....so weve never heard what he was willing to do...or what the contract said....the transcript was posted on several sites......good job bob...way to show you want the fight....set up a deadline...make sure everyone knows about it....but dont tell us anything that you were willing to do.....a joke

and your boy wont take a test.....the most evidence you guys have of pacs willingness to take one is some youtube interview where pac says, in broken english, "ya i wiw take dee tests"....lol...but you dont hear him laying a contract out with his name on it saying "i want the fight...heres what im willing to do for testing"....

u can say im reaching all u want

but like i said....pacs team has shown no more willingness to get it done

you probably think the clottey fight in dallas just happened to be pulled out of bob arums ass after floyd negotiations fell through.....ya right...pure bs...that fight was in back pocket the whole time he pretended to be negotiatiing with floyd

and like i said....his joke of an imposed deadline...yet we never heard what kind of deal was on the table....even after the deadline bob wouldnt tell us what manny would do in regards to testing

all you have is youtube vids of manny saying "ill take drug testing"...and that passes for you guys as "floyd is ducking...manny said hell take the test"!!

PAC's confidence as a FIGHTER is in his DNA. There's a big difference in the mentality of a trainer vs a fighter. A trainer can have confidence in their guy, but also has to be more analytical about who they are preparing their fighter for.

Roach says a lot of things about Floyd...he repsects Floyd as a fighter and knows that they'd have to fight a certian fight to beat him. I don't believe Freddie thinks it will be "EASY" from a technical and strategical standpoint, but physically it will be one of PAC's easier fights. IF, PAC fights using the right game plan and doesn't get off course. Floyd if nothing else is extremly intelligent in that ring and Roach knows he'll have to have a great game plan to ensure PAC's style causes trouble for Floyd.

Roach saying he needs time to prepared for Floyd's style is real talk. Just b/c Roach RESPECTS what Floyd brings to the equation doesn't mean he lacks confidence.

Floyd didn't run from Shane, which was great...but Shane also didn't run from Floyd like he did against PAC. Floyd doesn't ALWAYS fight off the back foot. He only does that when he's facing guys who present RISK. Like DLH or JLC. You see Floyd open up, take mroe risks and trade more against guys he's not cautious of. I think he knew Shane didn't have anything other than a punchers chance so he stayed in the pocket and did his thing.

Don't be silly kid.....I don't need to "hold on" to anything Floyd says or does...but I'll be the first one to pull his card and call him on his BS without hesitation.

I'm not one of his groupies who are all upset for having their work cut out for them, trying to defend Floyd's honor when Floyd is only making your jobs harder. It's hard being apart of Floyd ever diminishing fan base, but there are a lot of OVERLY loyalist who don't mind looking the fool.

PAC has shown all the efforts in making the fight..Floyd on the other hand has shown extensive efforts to delay or kill the fight with what he says and does. That's the reason the OVERWHELMING Majority call Floyd what he is when it comes to this fight...a Coward or Duck...which ever you perfer.

its gotta be hard for Floyd to have to deal with. I almost feel sorry for him but, as a man...Floyd has to deal with the drama he created.

Floyd has pretty much done himself in. He shouldn't have popped off at the mouth talking about Manny and how easy the fight would be and how Manny was a "one dimensional Midget". He shouldn't have made it a point to say that all PAC had to do was "say his name" and the fight between them would be as good as done.

After all that talk......EVERYONE expected Floyd to walk what he was talking. Instead we got even more TALK, but Talk that completely contradicted his original comments about fighting PAC.

He now all the sudden went from PAC being a cake walk and couldn't wait to fight him to making baseless accusations he couldn't back up and needing this "Midget" to take special tests which he's never had to demand before.

Not exactly the signs of a man LOOKING to make the EASIEST fight of his life while also making this biggest purse! There's a MAJOR lack of common sense when analyzing Floyd in this situation. So when something doesn't make any sense you gotta question the intent of the person who is contradicting themselves as much as Floyd has.

Had Manny Accused Floyd of cheating.....then demanded he take his SPECIAL TESTS, or there would be NO fight... Floyd would have told manny to **** off and everyone would be calling Manny a coward! Floyd wouldn't have even negotiated.

Just by PAC negotiating shows PAC really wants the fight...By PAC giving in to ALL of Floyd's demands and Calling his Bluff shows just how confident he is in his chances of beating Floyd.

ya yer really pulling floyds card...lol....man...how do u diminish a fan base that never existed...floyd doesnt even really have one....yet he still does numbers when he fights

i could go on for hours listing the contradictions from pacs camp during the last two years about a floyd fight...dont have the time...a.gain...no contract...no words as to where they are contractually willing to go in regards to testing.....i guess you havent heard of barry bonds, lance armstrong, shane mosley.....theres a steroid culture...floyd wants to ensure, in his mind, hes fighting on an even playing field.....and hes never come out and said, to a major media outlet, "manny is on steroids".....havent seen him on a major network or website saying "manny is on roids"...he doesnt do that

you pac fans live in youtube videos...your only argument against floyd is floyd said itd be easy...and hes an asian midget..on some youtube videos....youtube is the same place where you guys claim manny agreed to actually take tests

"oh **** floyd said hed whip manny...but hes making him take a test...wow what a coward"...thats your stance and point....gimme a break.....

again...you probably think the clottey fight just magically happened after failed negotiations....poor guy....mannys team has done nothing...absolutely nothing...to show they are trying to make a fight...besides some website countdown on toprank.com

    and heres your selling point

"Just by PAC negotiating shows PAC really wants the fight"

oh ya....what did negotiate??? wheres a contract? what concessions did he make...or agree to? nothing....you havent heard anything...because he hasnt even

some of you tards should listen to yourselves

"i saw floyds father on a youtube video say manny is on steroids"

"i saw floyd on youtube say hed whip manny easy...and that hes a midget....but floyds asking him to take test...omg floyd is so scared...what a ducker"

"i saw manny on a youtube video saying 'ill take thee drug test'.....

wow....ok...so where is bob telling us what manny was willing to do after the imposed floyd deadline passed?.....wheres it in writing...with manny saying "hey im ready to take the tests floyd...lets fight....just waiting for your signature".......youve got nothing except saying "wow floyd is contradicting himself by asking for a test for a guy he said hed make easy work of....hes scared"

:lol::lol::lol: STFU TAILOR MADE LMAO!!

Marquez loves to counter, marquez trades at times but is not consider to love to stand & trade he does it cause he is a warrior and doesn't let down. His MO is to counter and he fights at the pace his opponents fight him.

If anything Pac is the one who is tailor made for Marquez as he has shown in their past 2 fights... It's funny the last time Pac fought a counter puncher like Marquez was marquez....

But Marquez has been getting experience with young faster and stronger guys then him to prepare for PACQUIAO... Pac has been facing guys who come at him with no defense... Marquez is the better prepared for this fight.:deal Reagrdless of his age if there is anyone out there that can upset the critics its the Great Juan Manuel Marquez...

LOL..... A lot of Floyd groupies get their panties in a knot when they put Floyd on blast and expose the bull sh*t he's polluting the boxing world with.

Floyd had a a decent Fan base as do ALL Olympic athletes. Floyd being on PPV alone proves he had some fans. But that number is dwindling consistantly thanks to no one else but Floyd.

Please...by all means put out the contradictions from PAC himself and NOT his team. I'm specifically talking about FLOYD's OWN words and actions...not his manager, his promoter, team or family.

You compare the bullsh*t side by side and Floyd's working with a truck load, which is exactly why he's being held accountable by everyone weighing in on the situation.

I have yet to see ANY contract from Floyd, PAC or anyone else involved in trying to make this fight happen. All we have is PAC DIRECTLY stating he agreed to the test in the 2nd round of negotiations..which Floyd said never exsisted.

I agree there's a steroid culture kid.... Lance, Shane, Toney, Roy, bonds......All US athletes. Not that PAC is innocent b/c he's not a Black American Athlete operating on an elite level, but it's more likely Floyd is doping than PAC. But it's HIGHLY unlikey EITHER of them are dirty boxers.

Who gives a **** where or to whom Floyd accused PAC of being a cheat, or being on "Power pellets"? Fact is he's voiced his opinion and has been adamant about pushing the story he has failed to support with anything remotely valid.

And no one really cares if it's UTUBE or USTREAM or USA TODAY reporting DIRECT quotes from Floyd or Manny....Facts are facts and they're on record saying what they've said...GOOD OR BAD! For Floyd it's a thorn in his side b/c it keeps smacking him upside the dome whenever he is called out on his contradictions.

You may not want to accept logic or common sense when discussing Floyd, but MOST have no problems pulling up Floyd's skirt and exposing him. He's doing it himself but his groupies seem content on hiding their heads in the dirt.

There was negotiations that Floyd actually admitted to. The initial round of negotiations saw both sides trying to work out a common ground to the cut off for the "special tests" floyd needed to feel comfortable in fighting PAC.

Since they couldn't reach a mutual agreeable term.....PAC moved on...while Floyd went on vacation, somehow lost his urge....decided that he'd get married, then figured he'd put the nail in the coffin with regards to killing the PAC fight by demanding a ridiculous amount of money he knows he'd never get.

Keep your head in the sand kid....:rofl

I've already seen Roach say many times that Pac would beat Floyd, so there you have it.

Roach obviously has no problem telling it like he sees it, even when it's not in Pac's advantage.
