Froch quite clearly has no time at all for George Groves.

Interview with Froch on SSN at the moment.

He also said that he dropped Groves in sparring in a "behind the ropes" documentary.

Funny, that. Because when DeGale, in the lead-up to their fight, made claims about Groves getting dropped by Froch, Froch came out and denied it.

    No I haven't asked anything. A question has a question mark - "?"

He's had time for him in the past and had talked about at the end of his career wanting match-ups with all the up and coming brits. He's in Kessler mode right now though so ya his tone will have changed. But looking at this comments over the long term he's open to the fight.

Pretty sure he said it happened, but said that it's just one of those things that happens?

Sounded like he was pissed off that Groves was helping Kessler with sparring.

He said "Never before has an English fighter helped a foreign fighter prepare to fight another English fighter"

Seems a bit wrong that Groves has done the sparing with Kessler, however if you had the chance to get some rounds with a world class fighter at Groves stage in his develpment you would be hard pressed to turn it down. If Froch is that concerned why did he not as Groves to Spa with him ?

He seems like a bit of a ***** about it, if you ask me.

Groves gets a great opportunity to learn a lot sparring Kessler, and Froch has a problem with it because it's 'disloyal', even though they're not friends. Stupid.

I think its to soon for Groves to fight Froch, Groves should aim for Stieglitz, and get a few more fights against top 5-10 SMW. Froch, Kessler would both KO him, Ward would hug him to death, while make Groves look stupid.

It's ironic that he "has no time at all for Groves" yet he bangs on about Groves more than Groves even mentions Froch, yet Froch is the world champion

Also Froch dropping Groves in sparring is true. It happened back in 2010, it was a 6 round sparring session. Groves was down in round 2 or 3 but got back up to complete the 6 round session.

Howver - putting things into perspective. Groves had only been a pro for 2 years at the time of sparring Froch, who was in the super 6 and a world champion.
