Dont half big himself up. Modesty is not one of Froch's strengths. I take my hat off to him for never seemingly ducking anyone but he is not an elite fighter imo Sky are going to tear the arse out of the build up to the Kessler fight, im bored of it already. Yes they will go at it hammer and tong, yes they are both self styled 'warriors' but why the £15 fee. Do we not pay enough already.
Some of the quotes last night were really cringe, like you said modesty is virtually non existent. "I've lead the way for other British boxers to take tough fights back to back" "You can't expect others to do it just because I have" "Warrior is thrown around too easily these days but I am a Warrior" Obviously not word for word since I don't have quotes in front of me but that was the gist to be honest and simply the lack of modesty is becoming a little irritating. "I'm not going to give any excuses because people don't want to listen to them and they're boring" Then continues to makes excuses for a couple of minutes... I mean, you've got to give him respect but he just hasn't remained level headed and it's starting to irritate me.

I didn't like the excuses about the ash cloud before the kessler fight. He never comes across likeable on t. but I'm a fan none the less
that always a good one from him I dont make excuses about the Kessler and Ward defeat but the ash cloud and............................ he does seem up his arse a little bit than he used to be
Froch is definitely an arrogant *******, but he's also a great fighter that puts on exciting fights, so I don't really give a **** what he says as long as he keeps giving me my money's worth. It's as simple as that for me really :conf
I think that's the point, that he's become a 3 times world champion despite having flaws you don't normally associate with someone who has achieved as much as he has in the sport. His defence and composure have improved since the Abraham fight but he's not exactly Pernell Whitaker.
