yeah but what if your cable TV package is on the Virgin Media platform? As opposed to Sky. Then it looks like you can't get it, which is bad, though of course no one is making Virgin go along with it.

Very bad that the audience will potentially end up so fragmented.

yeah and he wouldn't have been in life and death, riveting and meaningful bouts in his last 2 outings.

you can't have it both ways. warren is shrewd but his matchups are seldom competitive. he plays the percentages to ludicrous extremes, and real competitiors like froch seem to frown on this.

however i am not arguing that hennessy has failed to make froch a star. froch is in there with US TV (showtime), and if he keeps delivering, he'll rake it in. he'll be a success, he'll have been in numerous genuine fights, without being a major star - and hennessy did get him there.

    I'm not complaining.

    1. We don't have to stay up to all hours to watch some fuzzy stream that asks you to complete about fifteen questionaires about what colour your **** is to watch it: it's just two fights on at a sensible time on TV.

    2. You get two fights for £13. They'll both be exciting and all involve top fighters, and it's not a rip-off compared to the £15 Sky charge for the privilige of seeing Khan dispense with some random cupcake.

    3. The channel might stay up and running and show more boxing in the future.

Yes, this should be on mainstream TV. But, after all that has happened to UK boxing coverage, I'm just grateful that it's watchable at all.

If anyone is on Virgin by choice then you deserve **** all for getting the cheapo version of TV. If you can get sky you should because it pisses all over that crap Virgin put out.

    well sorry mr sky tv!
If your boys had bothered to get off there lazy arses and decided to fit a dish on the side of my house after constant phone calls then i would have sky.
however it must have been "too much hassle" for them. Thus virgin gave us broadband, all the channels on 3 boxes for £15 cheaper, Oh and they could be arsed fitting what was needed.

    **** sky!:fire:fire

Don't be daft, joker. I get cheap internet (I also got a free upgrade recently as well), free ESPN (I had free Setanta when it existed as well) and free on demand TV, and all for considerably less than the price of Sky. If you're going to come out with asinine bull**** like that then at least back it up, you tit.

I'm on Virgin and have Sky sports.

That's quite simply bollocks. Look at the shite Sky have been putting on PPV for the last few years. Khan vs Prescott / ***an / Barrera or Hatton vs Lazcano

They've all done reasonable numbers. Why shouldn't Hennassy and Froch want a piece of the PPV pie? Froch vs Dirrell AND Taylor vs Abraham is a far superior PPV to any of those that i've listed above [Prescott perhaps being the notable exception]
