TOP American promoter Lou DiBella claims he has made an offer to Carl Froch's camp for a world title showdown with Jermain Taylor – but has not received a reply.
Purse bids for the fight close on Friday.
HBO aren't thought to be interested in the fight, but Showtime have a slot open on March 28.
"Right now nothing is out there," said Di Bella. "We have made an offer to Froch. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

"I've already started back training for my first defence and expect to be back in the ring in early April.
"In fact this week there was even talk of a March 28 date with Taylor and I'd have no problem with that either. I just want to get the fight on and prove to the world that I'm the best super middleweight out there. And, contrary to reports, Showtime are interested. Fox had great figures when they showed my fight with Pascal over Christmas."

 

I really want this fight to get made! Taylor would give Froch a 12 round boxing lesson.

 

i read hennessey`s reply yesterday.

hennesey said something to the effect that if he can make a uk tv date for mar 28th and the money was right we would go to america and take the fight.

hennessey also said that the offer was small and that he himself had offered 2 & 1/2 times more for the fight , but had not been got back to.

he never mentioned what the actual offer was.

 

I think Taylor UD but picked Froch KO as Taylor is pissing me off not fighting him.

I'd take Froch to stop him but its a very very good fight IMO, with all results very possible.

 

Tayler would win the first 3 rounds before froch takes over with a stiff jab and finishes him by the tenth with his superior stamina:happy

 

i dont think froch is ready for the likes of taylor,would be a tough contest for him.

froch would be too strong, if lacy can knock down tayor im pretty sure froch would be too much, unless anyone thinks lacy is better than froch

Frochs power is vastly overrated, Lacy is a much hevier puncer. If Froch couldn't knock out Pascal, he'd have no chance of knocking out Taylor

 

frochs power isnt overated, and no its not as powerful as lacy, but hell he can throw more often than lacy and throw faster thus making him a harder opponent, plus i think u just said that taylor has a better chin than pascal did u see the amount of flush punches that rocked him but he didnt go down in the froch fight and please dont say u think lacy is better fighter
