How'd you see it playing out?

Some people think King Arthur will be very dominant, but Froch is probably one of the hardest boxers to dominate due to his awkward stye.

    Thoughts?

Froch is going to drop his hands and become cocky later in the fight. He will attempt to trade with Abraham which will be a HUGE mistake for him. Froch will get KO'd late in the fight imo

even with that chin he's got?

i think his hands will be low the whole fight, as they always are. but yeah late on, it could be harder to get away from one of the kings big hooks

I think froch will win a UD, the ease with which dirrell beat AA really showed up the true level of AA imo.

I think it's all in froch's hands personally, is froch still hungry enough we don't know.

I think we see a new Abraham who doesn't tuck up early but fights from the offset. I believe it will be a war and it will be a very close fight. I cant pick a winner right now, but if someone had a gun to my head I'd pick Froch, but hopefully I never have a gun to my head cos I cant decide.

I don't think abraham has #1 the engine or #2 the skills.
Look at all his fights he does the same thing covers up and waits to land a big shot when his opponent tires.
I don't think it will work against froch.

Froch is a KO waiting to happen, he's on the downslide. Taylor floored him and almost beat him, Dirrel almost beat him, Kessler beat him and AA going to end the cobra myth. Even if Carl win, he got no chance against Ward.

I see it this way : Abraham will lose the first few rounds as usual, studying Froch. Froch is a busy fighter and he'll land enough punches in the first 5 or 6 rounds to win most of them. Abraham will be able to win some of the middle rounds, but by the 10th round, Abraham will need the KO to win and I DO think that he'll have figured Froch at this point. I think he'll hurt him really good in the last 3 rounds, scoring one or two knockdowns, but I think that Froch will be able to get up each time and win a split decision.

That being said, these guys could also slug it from the beginning and a fast KO wouldn't surprise anyone. It's a true pick'em fight between two boxers I really like.

    Froch's chin is incredibly overrated.

Carl needs to do 3 things to win:

1; Keep his hands up. (He never does.)

2; Stop telegraphing his jab. (He telegraphs his jab worse then any world class fighter today.)

3; Jump on Arthur's ass right at the opening bell. Hurt him, and keep him hurt.

I think it is very unlikely that Froch will do the things mentioned above. I think the most likely outcome is an Abraham tko in the 11th or 12th round. However, I see this as a very interesting fight that has no clear cut favorite.

i do think he has a good chin, not as granite as people say, but you know, now and again the odd shot can catch u off guard and put you on your ass

I can't see Froch lasting the distance personally.

I'm still wondering about this fight. Either Abraham by brutal destruction within 4 rounds or a war that could go either way. Froch is very awkward indeed, they both got a great chin but Abraham is more powerful. Potentially this fight could be a candidate for FOTY.

What chin? His chin is good but not iron or unbreakable like some make it out.

Taylor dropped him and had him hurt.

Dirrell had him on ***** street wobbling back.

    Kessler had him staggered.

Abraham is a much bigger puncher, and he's not only more aggressive but he's got an iron chin. He will KO Froch.
