Froch vs Abraham

I think Abraham catches him either way due to the fact that he moves forward and throws decent enough combinations but I like this scenario.

 

When is the fight taking place? I've seen two different dates... Oct 6 after the Showtime special and Nov something. Anyone know? Hopefully soon enough.

 

interesting matchup, I used to think that the Abraham would hand him a fist sandwich and drop him but Froch has a lot of heart, should be an intersting fight.

 

Abraham is asleep at the wheel for 25 minutes of pretty much every fight he has ever had. My Lord he was outboxed by Miranda for God sake and needed the ref to save his ass. Froch will force him out of his leather back turtle D. I think Froch probably watched the Cleverly/Murat fight. Same trainer. Ulli Wegner trains all his fighters the same way. It's like he shows a film suggesting you only have to fight for 9 minutes. Froch will force him to engage and then knock his ass out.

 

He's also Frenkel's trainer ... so what ? Stop talking **** dude. Abraham is not Murat.

 

Froch will win. Wait & see.

 

I'd be very surprised if AA wins this, even more so if by KO.

Although I'm a big Froch fan and have followed his career since he turned pro, I have always been critical of his achilles heel, and it's nothing to do 'telegraphing punches', or being 'slow', or 'having no defence'..............his main problem has always been a lack of workrate, and it was this that cost him the fight with Kessler. It was a close fight but Kessler was simply 'busier' which gaining him the nod

 

Can't wait for this bout...two recently defeated boxers going toe to toe.

 

One thing I think that will be important is the reach of each fighter. Dunno the stats but i bet froch has a much longer reach than AA. I think Froch has to use that advantage, if he can then he should win a UD.

I don't see this going the distance at all. It's a toss-up as far as who knocks who out, imo. I slightly favor Froch on the off chance that it actually does go to the cards. This match is almost frightening with the kind of blunt force that's going to be slinging back and forth. Say what you want about either fighter but these guys both hit like a mule.

 

I expect Abraham to open up more in this bout...and we could be in for some very good exchanges.

 

Dirrel Knocked Abe down and had him hurt, yes he wobbled Froch, but WHO has the better punch resistance at SMW? I've gotta feeling Abe is in for a rough night with Froch.

 

Grab a brain pan. They are exactly the same fighter style wise.

 

Marco Huck is nothing like and he is trained by Wegner.
