Froch has done enough to earn the fight IMO

He has done as much as Lacy had and that is one of Joe's biggest wins

It would be a big money fight too

But I respect Joe's decision to retire, persaonlly

    Calzaghe?

Facing a high quality fighter in his prime......

Not a chance - Kessler excepted of course.

Calzaghe didn't want this fight before and he definitely doesn't want it now. I can't blame him to be honest. Being undefeated is just too important to him.

Lol as if Froch would even win a round with Calzaghe. All Froch got is great power. But then Joes got a great chin. If Pascal can take Froch bombs all night, Calzaghe could too, not that he would be getting hit by nearly as many.

I'd love to see this fight. I'd go to it for sure. Joe would make a fortune and improve his legacy. I think he stays retired, but if there was one fight that could draw him back it would be this one.

Calzaghe would make Froch look like a fool, doubt he could motivate himself for this fight. Wont happen.

The only reason Froch won was due to Taylor gassing down the straight. Calzaghe's main strength is his stamina.

    Calzaghe UD.

I certainly do think it made it more of a possibility. Froch still has a belt, still shows he can be outboxed.

But we're talking like the difference between a 5% chance and a 10% chance.
You still wouldn't put money on it.

I'd favour Joe, but you never know in boxing. If a guy like Robin Reid or Bika can give Calzaghe a good fight it's not totally unfeasible that Froch could too.

All this "Calzaghe by massacre" kind of stuff is starting to wind me up. Lets face it, Calzaghe can't hurt anyone...

Exactly! Calzaghe probably should have lost against a 43 year old Hopkins and was knocked down by a 40 year old Jones who was beating him until he got cut and he's going to destroy Froch easily? That's a ****ing ridiculous suggestion.

A young Calzaghe may have ko'd Froch...but these days it would be a fairly comfortable UD.

Jones was beating Calzaghe till he got cut? :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Jones won one round, the first one, that's all. After that, it got a bit embarrassing for Jones.

Calzaghe's too fast for Froch, he'd win easily.

Alot of people had that fight even going into the middle rounds (some of those early rounds could have been given either way + the knock down), there were some close rounds. Joe won easily in the end but early on the corpse of Jones was in it - believe it or not.
