You know Boo I was thinking about this fight yesterday, majority of posters on ESB agree Froch has absolutely no defense relying on his granite chin and unorhtodox style. He is wide open for counters, hooks and straight rights. Arthur will land and will land clean and hard. If I judge his fight against miranda at the higher weight, which I thought he looked the absolute healthiest and best I have ever seen him, I think he has a more then decent shot. Something I kind of figured out about arthur after rewatching his fights , I don't know if anyone else has also is: he does not take the body punch to well. If I were Pavlik or any other future opponent, I am digging to arthurs body as far as I can. For some reason he always looks squeamish and uncomfortable when he gets hit to the body and I am not talking after a few rounds.. Froch seems like a headhunter, and arthur covers up well. I am predicting an arthur KO anywhere from round 9 to 10. I also am basing my opinion on the fight he had at the catchweight of 166.
Hey -- I still have high hopes for the pup. He's lost a few, but he's still just a green prospect, and the old tomcat has been in there with coyotes and ****, so, keep the faith brother!
Interesting about the body shots. Yeah, people seem to focus on hitting his damned gloves. Like I have said before, just compare weigh in photos from the fight at 166 and others. Big smile on his face, relaxed....
